I am very impressed by the work that was done. They were all very polite and made sure everything was cleaned when they left. I even hired them back to do chimney work on my two chimneys.

We wanted a new front walk to replace the existing gravel walk. Contacted Sammy and he was courteous and made an appointment to see me quickly after work. We agreed on a paving block and a fair price. He started work that Saturday and finished on Sunday. He and his men worked very hard and would always try to accommodate our wishes and make sure we were happy with the work. He returned the next day to make a few minor fixes. We would definitely recommend Sammy,s for your masonry project.

Sammy sent two of his professionals. They were slightly late but they were professional and courteous as they quickly replaced the seal. If I needed to hire someone for a similar job again, I would contact this company.

Sammy's was great! I knew from the start that I could trust his knowledge of his craft and was very pleased with the work. They showed up on time, advised me of any changes to the estimated job before they did them, completed the work to my liking, and cleaned up very well after they were done. They even raked the lawn of fallen debris! The jobs were done correctly, neatly, professionally and for a fair price. The employees were very respectful, too. Sammy and his team did a superior job on our front pathway, He was personally involved in each phase: design, material selection, site prep and installation of pavers and granite steps. His maxim "the soil conditions will guide us" ensured that the installation adapted to both the conditions he encountered and our requests as the project progressed. He was prompt and true to his schedule; his team was professional throughout. We are thoroughly pleased with the results. Sammy’s Masonry has completed work for our family several times over the last 10 years. They have done roof, chimney, brick stair work. Most recently Sammy’s crafted a new sidewalk along with stairs and landing using bluestone, natural stone and pavers. He used the best quality material and quoted us a very good price. The staff is very conscientious, meticulous and friendly. They worked 3 full days and did a wonderful job. My wife is very happy with the final product. We have already have Sammy’s locked in to do another job for us next year. Sammy’s Masonry stands by their work product and always has been very accommodating. I would recommend Sammy’s without reservation.

The work was performed on time, as promised. After the patch had settled I called him back concerning some cracks in the concrete which he came back to fill in the very next day. I have a few other small projects that I need done and I will definitely use Sammy Masonry again.

Quick, easy, effective, competitive price

I have been a home owner for over 30 years and Sammy Masonry was one of the most professional contractors I have had do work on my house.. His crew were top notch. They were efficient, on time, super organized and never made a mess. In fact they used drop tarps on my new driveway, so not to mess it up. His work is by far some of the best I have ever seen.

Sammy and his crew did an excellent job and were very professional. My 24 x 26 patio was done with pavers and my driveway was also done with pavers. I liked the suggestion on the colors and how the driveway should be completed that Sammy gave me. They came every morning when they said they would come and cleaned up nicely every afternoon when they left. They worked a long day every day so the project was completed in only five days. There were a couple of things that I wanted to change as the project went along and Sammy was very accommodating and fixed them very quickly. The finished job looks beautiful and I would definitely hire them again.

This is the first time I can't wait to write a review of a contractor I hired to do work. Sammy was contracted to replace my brick front stoop that was collapsing. I do not know Sammy other than from the ratings and reviews from Angie's list. Sammy gave me a very reasonable price during his initial visit n promised to do it after winter is over. As promised, Sammy n his crew showed up bright n early a couple of days ago. Work was progressing smoothly outside. Then I noticed a big water stain with water dripping down from my kitchen ceiling. Fearing pipe might be leaking from toilet above on the second level so I asked Sammy if he knew a plumber I could call in short notice. Sammy assured me he would be able to fix it. While his remain crew was working on the brick work, Sammy came in to check on my water damage. He was very professional n proceeded to take off his work boots before entering my house that I did not expect. Then he looked at the ceiling n went upstairs to check on the toilet. He told me it was mostly likely the wax ring. At the time I wasn't sure that was the real reason but since I haven't replaced the wax ring when the house was built 20+ years ago so I went along with it. He replaced the wax ring but water was still dripping from the ceiling below. He proceeded to rip out a big section of the stained sheetrock n water collected above came pouring down. What a mess! After the ceiling came down with all the water, we tested the toilet n shower to make sure there was no more leak. Now we have this big section of ceiling that I need to cover up n Sammy told he would be able to fix it n quoted me a very, very reasonable or even considered to be cheap price to fix the entire thing. At that moment I would have agreed to pay any price within reason in such short notice but Sammy did not try to gouge me. His crew cut out the surrounding ceiling after they finished the 1st day of brick work. The next morning he n his crew proceeded to put up the sheetrock n arranged for a taper to come in to tape n prep the ceiling for painting. While this was going on, the brick work was still proceeding as normal. Later that day, I was trying to replace a rubber seat in my faucet that was leaking for a long time. I was stuck because I couldn't loosen a screw cap to open up the faucet. I asked Sammy if he could help loosen the cap for me but the cap was so corroded that even he couldn't loosen it. I was resigned to having to hire a plumber to replace the faucet. I ended up with TWO brand new faucets (double sinks). When I asked how much do I owe Sammy for replacing both faucets, he told me to pay him 'whatever' which is highly unusual even though I bought the hardware but he spent over an hour in tight space underneath both sinks to remove/reinstall both faucets. While all these were going on, his crew managed to finish a nice looking front brick stoop within the 2 days timeframe he told me. After the stoop was completed, his crew came in the house n finished painting the ceiling while Sammy was replacing my faucets. I was happy with the new pretty front stoop but I was even more impressed by the professionalism demonstrated by Sammy n his crew. He could have easily said he couldn't do the plumbing and ceiling repair, which a lot of contractors would do or he could have asked for more money knowing the fact that I was desperately in need of somebody in such short notice. He could have turned down my faucet replacement work because there was no 'meat' in it. Not only did he finish everything as promised, he did it with a smile on his face at all time. Nothing seems to phase Sammy and based on this experience, Sammy Construction has just gained a long term customer. I have contractors who did good work for what they were contracted to do but nothing like Sammy n his crew. His professionalism is above n beyond the normal call of duty of a contractor. I recommend Sammy n his company wholeheartedly n I have already had a couple of big projects lined up with Sammy.

Sammy gave me a time of arrival that just so happened to coincide with my having to pick up my wife from work. In the short time I was away (20-30 minutes), Sammy cleared the pergola of snow and was on his way out just as I returned. Few individuals are as attentive to their clients. I know people are very busy, and I also know that it isn't easy to please everyone. Contractors like Sammy, especially during times of storms and wild weather events, are trying to maximize every free minute to service and please as many people as possible. Yes, it's a business, but what I appreciate is that he cares for his clients and is empathetic about their concerns as homeowners. Fair in price, Sammy continues to be thorough in his work and true to his word. Regardless of the season, so long as I am in the area, I will continue to trust and provide Sammy with my business.

Absolutely flawless. Great job! Very nice guy. Quality job for a fair price and done right the first time. He did not show up to do one thing then try and sell me on something expensive or ridiculous. I highly recommend Sammy and will utilize him exclusively going forward.

My normal guy for snow removal never showed up. I found Sammy Masonary on Angie's list and called. Within several hours he arrived and the job was done. He was prompt, professional and vey efficient. He made sure I was satisfied with the job he had done. The price was more than I normally pay but I needed it done now so I paid the higher price. I would consider using him if my normal service is no longer in business.
