I requested an estimate for the work to be done, twice, and it was never provided. I also inquired about the hourly rate and was told that they don't provide that.

Jeff's quote was reasonable. He showed up on time each day and cleaned up each afternoon so well, it didn't look like there was a project in progress. He installed our tiles with precision and care. He did such a great job it brought tears to my eyes! We are so happy with Jeff's work and will definitely highly recommend Langdeau Carpentry & Remodeling to our family and friends.

Jeff responded quickly to my SOS. He came to my house to discuss the several projects that were on my list. He emailed a proposal indicating the cost per project. He was very professional and had a wide knowledge base of the product being installed. I would not hesitate to call him for any future projects.

From start to finish all went beautifully as planned. No surprises and Jeff was a pleasure to deal with, professional and knowledgeable yet casual and very personable.

Overall the full carpentry work went very well. Jeff and his assistant did all the work, both professional and cleaned work area at the end of day. The work went through building inspection. One part of the basement area was divided into a bedroom and hallway. Bedroom had a new window installed. A pocket door was installed between the bedroom and hallway. The hallway area had a stair banister installed. The other part of the basement was turned into a bathroom. There was a need to work closely with the plumber and electrician in this area. The bathroom had a drop ceiling installed, this area was tricky to configure. The shower was tiled by Jeff. Jeff installed all the floors. Jeff gave good suggestions on what products I should buy, such as floors, ceiling tiles. He is trustworthy.

The project went very well. Jeff was very responsive to our needs and listened to our suggestions, He is prompt and courteous. He took care of some minor issues with no additional charge. Jeff and his crew always cleaned up after work was done. I would definitely use Jeff again for future needs.

From initial contact to work completion, we were in constant contact. All through the estimate process to scheduling the work. Odd Jobs, LLC arrived at the appointed hour, inspected the work to be done, and conferred with me as to the extent of my requirements. The work began immediately, and continued to completion. The time allowed was for two days, but two carpenters arrived and the work was completed in one day. This made me very happy. When I consider the amount of material and the "man hours" worked, I felt that the price and estimate were fair. The owner was professional, friendly courteous, and skilled, along with carpenter #2. Although this was a relatively "small" job, I have seen enough to know that I would not hesitate to contract with Odd Jobs, LLC again.

Jeff and his team were great to work with. Responsive, friendly, flexible with changing requests, and they did great work. The only area I would mark them as merely "good" would be the painting, but everything else was fantastic. I would highly recommend this company for your next project.

He was very trustworthy. He did the work in 4 days & had key to the house. He was very neat and clean every single day. At the end of the job, he did acknowledge that in the price, he had included the price of paint, so he refunded me some of my money, which I felt was very honest of him. He had one helper & they were both very pleasant. they did a very nice job. They were very knowledgeable. Nothing was damaged and I had a really good experience! They were very prompt, did not miss any days & I would definitely use him again.

Work was very good. However, it took a whole month to do what should have taken about a week or two at the most for such a small house. Rain,owner was injured at his own home over a weekend, and personal issues from one of his workers all contributed to the extension. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. However, because of the rain, scheduled time interfered with other projects he had and I felt that priority of my house was not as important, which also caused the time extension. Nevertheless, the work done was very good. Originally, he was going to also replace the banister caps for which he would add an additional $200. However, since he hadn't purchased the wood by his last day, I decided that I could finish the banister with less hassle of appointment scheduling and less money. .

Jeff is great! Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Very pleased with his work. He also left my house spotless when he was finished. Couldn't be happier, will be using Jeff again in the future.

On 28 March, 2014, Jeff Langdeau looked at all the areas I needed to have repaired, and promptly announced that this was way more than four hours worth of work. I agreed with him completely and inquired about getting an estimate for the work. He said he could/would do so, and left. No work was done that day as it was not a scheduled appointment nor was he prepared for it then, as he was "just in the area" when he came by. I waited sometime before contacting him again as I assumed I would get an estimate of some sort and we could proceed with the work. I never did get an estimate of any kind. I got messages to call his cell, but no messages of when he could come do the four hour little job(s), much less anything above and beyond that. From there it became a protracted form of missed phone calls on both of our parts due to busy lives. He also said that he was really only supposed to contact me (or other customers) via the messages on Angie's list site and that he wasn't allowed to give estimates other ways. This is not what he had said the day he stopped by. I recently revisited this issue and called him the 15th of June 2015 (over a year after last speaking with him). He insisted that he'd contacted me over and over and never heard back from me, which was not entirely accurate. According to him this time, he said he never writes estimates and that isn't how business is done anymore; it's all done via phone or email. I wonder why in any of the supposedly multiple times he called me, he never left an estimate then? He also said he'd had this same problem with other people who said they weren't able to get in touch with him and it must have been a problem with their answering machines or emails or something. He said that whenever anyone calls him it goes right to his cell and he always calls back right away. Again, not quite the way it worked from my experience with him. I do remember that he said he was really busy and wasn't able to always get back to people right away at the beginning of this whole experience. On the last and most recent conversation with him he commented that Angie's list isn't really fair to the contractors or the customers because they don't tell you what the deals really are and that they are all written by the people at 'Angie's List', not the contractor. He claimed that the contractor's aren't even really paid (or hardly get anything at all) because the money we as customers pay all goes to 'Angie's List', not the contractor. One of his last comments regarding working was that Angie's List had just called him to ask him to do another deal and in his words he told them "no way because it's a big rip off". Bottom line: No work ever done, no form of reliable communication. Mysteriously, a "review" seems to have been posted on my account on the same day he showed up unannounced saying that he would get an "A" rating, did great work, cleaned up after himself, was a fabulous and really, really nice guy. Not only did I not write that review, it was not even written the way I write, so I don't know what that is about.

Jeff did a terrific job and completed the taping of a 12 x 12 room in a very quick amount of time. Very professional, has a lot of patience and did excellent, quality work. Without hesitation, I would use Odd Jobs LLC again.

We called Odd Jobs after we were forced to fire a prior contractor due to lack of responsiveness/professionalism. The job had previously dragged on for nearly 2 months with little progress and we were anxious to have the work completed quickly. Odd Jobs responded quickly and were extremely accommodating to fit us into their schedule. In about a week they were able to finish the work that the prior contractor had left unfinished. They were always very punctual and professional. We are extremely pleased with the final work performed and would absolutely recommend them and hire them again in the future.

Jeff from Odd Jobs LLC returned my phone call the same evening I left a message for sheetrock work in my home. He arrived the next morning as we agreed and was able to walk through the area I needed work on and give me an estimate. I spoke with Jeff regarding the price and we were able to agree on an amount both of us were comfortable with. He arrived promptly on the first day and began working immediately. Jeff is a professional and very respectful. I did not have to clean up after him as I have in the past for other handymen. Jeff returned two other days as the mud needed to dry and get sanded prior to applying other coats. In the end we were extremely pleased with his promptness and work. I would definitely recommend Jeff to anyone. We will be using Jeff again in the near future. A++
