+ 0 moreThey came out right away - on time - and diagnosed that the problem was STILL the motor and that the aftermarket motor I had purchased was garbage. Leary of the explanation, I let them change out the motor and lo and behold - they were right. It was a crap motor. They've been out for some other things before as well - servicing the filter, etc. Happy with them and will continue using them as long as they treat me right, which has thus far been the case. :)
Description of Work: Water softener stopped working. I'm fairly technical so I disassembled the pump and found the motor has seized. Bought a new one online and installed it, but it didn't fix the problem. Called Barlow.

+ 0 moreTecnician was here an hour for the $155 labor charge.We normally pay $110 for the chemicals. Total $265. So, we basically paid $155 to clear a clog in a 5ft hose and, adjust the flow and add chemicals (all labor).

+ -1 moreI called at about noon to request a service call and got a call at 4 that they were on their way. They evaluated the problem and gave me an estimate. They did the work and I had a working pump again by abut 6:30 pm. I had to wait a few days to use the water as the sludge had been stirred up and made the water brown. I also had to clean the filters in several faucets because they were clogged with sludge. Not anything that they caused, just a result of the work performed. Totally satisfied with their service.
Description of Work: My well pump stopped working and needed to be replaced.

+ -1 moreTHEY CAME OUT AND HAD EVERYTHING CLEARED UP WITHIN AN HOUR. AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN WHAT I COULD DO TO KEEP MY DRAINS WORKING BETTER SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO CALL THEM AGAIN.
