I called Harp when our heat stopped work on a Saturday morning. The on call service tech called back within 15 minutes and was very professional. I explained I had checked all of thr standard reasons for no heat (tripped breaker, switch being turned off, etc) and he gave me an estimated arrival time based on how busy he was and his location. Don, the tech, arrived much earlier than expected and was very friendly. He checked the unit, determined the issue, and quickly replaced the broken part. He explained how long it would take for the heat to come back up and went on his way. Overall I was very satisfied with thr service and felt the price was fair for a weekend emergency servicd call.

They did a good job. They were very professional. They had good follow up and fair pricing. They also offer a discount if you refer them which I like.

The Harp employee spent about 8-10 minutes reviewing our current furnace and heating needs. He said that he would contact me in 2 business days to provide an estimate to replace the gas furnace and install a new coil. Never heard from the company again. At least he didn't stay more than 10 minutes I guess.

They advised that my compressor needed replaced. They were very prompt, reasonable, professional, and very informative. I was not able at the time to have the part replaced so I did not have the service done. I would consider using them in the future.

Technician arrived on time. He was efficient, pleasant and professional. He provided information about when to schedule an air conditioning tune up.

In fact, no detail was too small. He scolded me because the batteries in the carbon monoxide detector were not in place. But he also thoroughly cleaned the area and kept me informed about his progress. (Bad news: the furnace was older than the water heater.)

The company was very good. They installed it and any issues they addressed right away, they handled every situation the way they should have. Everything has been working fine so far.

The installation was scheduled very quickly which was nice during the very warm weather. The installers were here on time and finished when it was predicted they would. Not only were they very neat and professional, they noticed problems with other systems (leaking outdoor faucets and radon vents etc.) and suggested resolutions. The system works fine. I highly recommend HARP and will use them for all of my mechanical systems.

It was a pretty big job. They are good, timely and efficient. No other company could do the job so I can't grade their pricing. We had no problems whatsoever.

I used HARP in the fall to service my furnace and again this Spring to service my central ac. The fall furnace cleaning went pretty well, but the Spring AC service was excellent. Both technicians were very knowledgeable, polite, and did a very neat job. However, Joey who handled the AC this Spring was really exceptional and exceeded my expectations. My long-time HVAC company converted to servicing large commercial accounts only last year and I was very nervous about finding a replacement company. I chose HARP based on Angie's List reviews and am very grateful to have found them. They sell and service American Standard equipment, which is what I have throughout, so they're a perfect fit.

They checked everything out and were very thorough.

I had no heat in freezing temps and they provided me with detailed pricing info and scheduled service very quickly for me.

I received a quote from HARP for central air conditioning in my home in February. The unit they were going to install required an upgrade to the home electrical to 200 amp service. They left brochures that showed the units they were going to use were top rated. They explained where the units would go, where the air vents to each room would be located and how some of the closets would have air tubes running through them once they were done. I have base board oil heat so air tubes and vents had to be installed. The cost of the 200 amp service was $1,800. I had my electrician do that work but did get an estimate from theirs. Those quotes were identical. They came the day that we planned on and ran the air tubs and installed the vents. The next day they installed the air handlers in the attic and the single 4 ton unit outside. The whole job was completed in 3 days. When they finish they went over the use of thermostat and said to call them with any questions. They also sent in the paper work for the rebate of $250. My only other quote was for $19,000 for a job without the 200 amp upgrade but would have had two smaller units outside and many air recovery vents throughout the house instead of just one where the attic fan had been on the second floor.

Team did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves, wore booties in the house. Nice techs.

Our house has two levels and the heating system was unable to provide for both levels. They were punctual and arrived within the time frame they provided. The technician who came out was young and didn’t seem to have as much experience as others technicians. We did have to call out another service provider for a more thorough diagnosis. It was an okay experience.

This work was being done at my son's condo while he was at work. I went there to let him in and supervise the work. The technician came on time and went right to work checking the system. However, he was extremely talkative (but pleasant). He didn't seem to care how much time it took while he chatted away. Later on when he was installing the humidifier, he had another technician come over to help and it just seemed like forever for them to install the unit while they both talked and talked. It took a total of about 6 hours to do this work. That seems incredibly long to me. I would occasionally show up in the basement, and when I did, the conversation would stop and they would look busy. I asked a question regarding if the opening in duct, which was now sealed over with aluminum tape, was properly screwed in. I got a sarcastic reply back. I also asked a question about the need for the outdoor sensor installed for the humidifier. I knew already that it overrides the humidifier settings when the outdoor temperature gets very low to control indoor condensation. He gave me an answer that made absolutely no sense. That told me he really doesn't understand his work. I don't know if the quality of work was good yet because we haven't had ample opportunity to use it. Also, I'm in the process currently of replacing the AC and heating in my own home and have gotten 4 different estimates. One of them was from HARP. They were the only contractor to insist on a single speed fan for the furnace. All of my research and every other contractor pointed to the single speed fan as the poorer option. For this reason and many others, I chose Nutmeg to do the work at my home.

The guy was very professional, covered his shoes every time he stepped in and out of the house. Called and txted before he showed up. Spot on all around!

Bottom line-Excellent. Prompt, knowledgable, professional, friendly.

The condenser unit checked out and he inspected all registers and determined that I wasn't efficiently utilizing the directional flow of my registers. All supplys were fixed and directed downward toward the floor. He brought in a thermometer to test and sure enough, the airflow in the house was traveling across the floor as opposed to upwards. He suggested changing/updating all registers to maximize air flow. (a $75 fix at Lowes) as opposed to a costly repair. The $100 service call was educational and should hopefully remedy the problem.

the technician Ed was wonderful, he told me what it would cost to repair and did a wonderful job it is purring like a kitten. He was very neat and clean and wore paper socks over his shoes when he came in the house. I would use Harp again if I have a problem.

Technician showed up promptly. He was very knowledgeable and was able to explain in detail what needed to be done to rectify the problems we were having - all of them were easy fixes. After living with this harmonic noise coming from the vents in our bedroom it took him just one look to determine the builder had installed the wrong type of vent covers on the ducts. A trip to the local hardware store and $50 later the problem has been solved!
