The most ridiculous, gas lighting experience. In short, the driver was the worst person I've encountered in a while. We had a simple pick-up - a Lovesac return with a cover. When he arrived to our house, before he even got out of the moving truck, it was waiting for him at the front door - it's the smallest, lightest sac they have, I carried it myself. I greeted them with the door wide open and the sac ready to go - then had to go upstairs, we live in a townhouse, to grab the cover. Maybe a "wait" of 30 secs tops. They happened to come at the very same moment my husband needed to leave for an appointment, they were blocking our 2 car wide driveway completely, and I asked the driver if he wouldn't mind moving the truck back so my husband could get out - a mere 3 ft - and then we could finish the paperwork. I had to ask him twice. Worth noting, he'd been at our house for about 3 mins at this point. He walked (stomped almost) away from me saying that he'd send the paperwork to whatever contact info he had, signaling that he was leaving - and I had to Follow him to the truck and open the passenger side door to tell him that was not cool. After I got in his face about it, he moved the truck, and got back out to finish the paperwork, and proceeded to gas light me. That I wasn't "ready" for him when he got here and that he was on a time clock and he'd already been there for too long, and that he was leaving to move the truck instead of leaving and etc etc. Needless to say we ended up in a screaming match bc whatever he thought by looking at me, I wasn't going to take his very large pile of horsesh1t. I called the office and they could CARE LESS. I suspect the mover was a terrible person, because the office is made up of terrible people. That's usually how it goes. If this SIMPLE transaction which took 10 mins in total, including the screaming match, is SO painful and went down hill SO fast ... you probably don't want to use this company for anything at all.

The admin process was great. Becky made everything so easy and was so patient with us during the chaos of the move. The guys arrived and we're super polite, always wore masks and we're incredibly efficient. I can't recommend Fallon Moving more highly.

The move went perfectly. The movers were thoughtful, they listened and put all boxes where they needed to be, making unpacking a breeze. They also spent time moving furniture to best fit the rooms. This was the best move I have ever had!

Fantastic! The crew was right on time and so professional!! They unloaded our whole house including breaking down beds and dresser in 2 hours 15 min. The complete job took 6 hrs. Whatever they take apart they put back together-amazing! I highly recommend Fallon Movers. ❤️

Fallon Moving & Storage was great to work with. They helped my move go smoothly and were professional and hard working.

The movers were friendly and professional, and got the job done extremely quickly. It took only about 3 hours to move an entire 2-bedroom apartment into a 3-bedroom house (moving everything up a flight of stairs to boot). All boxes and furniture ended up in the right place as well, and care was taken to avoid both damage to the items being moved and the house. Furthermore, the payment process at the end was simple and straightforward, and there were no surprises in the final amount. Definitely would recommend!

Fallon was excellent. Moving staff was professional and helpful. They were very respectful on both belongings and us. I would hire them in a heartbeat. Professional and everything arrived in perfect condition.

Jason and his crew were phenomenal! They treated our home and possessions better than if it were their own. They were super friendly, professional and efficient! They were especially considerate of the pandemic situation and made us feel comfortable throughout. They definitely exceeded expectations from start to finish!!!

Excellent they arrived on time were very efficient wrapped all the furniture everything for protection were very polite. Definitely would use them again and would recommend them to anyone who is moving or needs storage. Very professional company

Went great! We packed and moved most of the small stuff using materials provided by Fallon and they came in and moved larger items and remaining items. They quoted us for 6 hours and we're done in 4 hours saving us even more money! The movers were on time and very nice to work with. Would definitely use again!

I am not sure where to begin, I’m 70 years young and lived in CT all of my life. In December I sold my home. I asked my realtor for the name of a mover. He stated that another client just used your company so I hired Fallon Moving of Windsor, CT who represents Atlas. My son wanted me to use another company, however, I told him I had already agreed to use Atlas. Your representative Skip Akerlind was a good salesman (a smooth operator), however, your company did not live up to what was sold me. They told me my furniture would be shrink wrapped and covered in blankets. That never happened! This was only the beginning of my nightmare and moving disaster. I set the date for my move for 12/21/13. First of all, I had them pack some of my belonging on 12/20/13 and on 12/21/13 the ACE truck arrived-----the truck had other loads on the truck and did not have enough room on the truck for my furniture----My closing date for my house was scheduled for 12/23/13---I asked them to get another truck and told them I must be moved on this date. They did nothing to help me get this accomplished. My closing was 12/23/13 and I was flying out that day. I refused to sign the contract as it was null and void for breach of contract. Your company did not deliver what was agreed upon. Can you imagine how upset I was!!!!! I was to be moved on 12/21/13 and the cleanup of my house was going to be on 12/22/13 and I would be ready for my closing on 12/23/13. This did not happen. They refused to help me. They wouldn’t do anything because 12/22/13 was a Sunday and they didn’t work on Sunday’s. Fallon Moving could not even be reached….I couldn’t get any help from anyone….I even called Mr. Akerlind at home, but to no avail. They instead showed up the morning of my closing (it was raining), the buyers also showed up and refused to close. Today it was Fallon’s truck that arrived. They did not shrink wrap my furniture nor did they even cover it. (remember it was raining and muddy). During the course of the time they were there I found them stealing items from my donation boxes (items to be given to local charities) instead of doing their job of moving. Little did I know they would be stealing many of my own personal items as well. They did not leave my house until after 4 PM----I had a flight to reach at 6PM---My closing couldn’t take place and I had to pay people to clean my house, clean my carpets, have my garbage removed and my donations delivered to the local charities. This was not my only nightmare….The morning of the move my son had found that his I-Pad was stolen and my furniture was being delivered to my destination in (2) trips…(1) by ACE and the other one I don’t know who. One arrived on December 31, 2013 and the other one on January 21, 2014. For each delivery my son and I met the trucks on arrival and checked each piece of furniture and delivered/or not delivered items. All of my furniture was Ethan Allen furniture (very good furniture). Well when it arrived all of the furniture was either ruined or stolen….My furniture was real wood and not press board and should never have been delivered in the condition that it appeared. (My home was a show place for other realtors). This is not the end of my story……Due to my pain and suffering I was incapacitated for over (2) months… Fallon has lied and has given phony or doctored up documents regarding the dates, they have also provided false weight tickets from non certified scales and without trucking numbers Your company in CT should not be allowed to represent ATLAS in the future so that this may never happen to anyone else.

I liked Fallon Moving and Storage Inc very much. They are very good communicators. I have moved and stored my furniture with them and used their storage units. They are a well-run organization with friendly, professional employees. I had issue with one of the employees, but that situation was remedied as soon as I informed the company about the issue. My storage unit is not a locker, but a unit that was stacked together with other units. The employees were always willing to bring it down for as long as I needed to look inside it, and when I was done, they hoisted it back up so I didn't have to do any of the work. I love that they are family-owned. I would most certainly use them again and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good moving or storage company.

The coordination staff was pretty responsive, especially with our biggest problem in the move (every move has a problem). At our new home, a third party was contracted by the coordinator to ensure our washer and dryer were hooked up properly. That third party didn't do the best job, and Fallon followed through to get us a credit for that service, and encouraged the third party to send us an apology (which they did). With the move itself, we were extremely pleased, as we found nothing worth reporting was missing or damaged. Aside from one small ding in our stairwell, there was no damage noted to either our home or belongings. The movers were professional on both ends, and the driver was phenomenal to work with. We would recommend Fallon to a friend.

They provided us good service and the price they charge was fair. They were very user friendly s their people are in contact with us through out the process which was good. They were on time and they're careful with our belongings too. On Saturday they're gonna move the rest of our stuff in.

They were very good. I got here with everything and nothing was broken. I'm very happy. In fact, they were more particular with some things than I would have been!

The trucks showed up more or less on time, and the crew was pleasant enough, though we expected 4 men and Fallon sent 5. I mention this because they seemed surprised that the 5th man was not going to be doing any packing, even though we had informed our move coordinator we no longer needed them to do this for us (we had planned to have them pack all dishes/ glassware/china etc. and this was included in the original estimate). It seemed at times that the "5th man" was not needed and since we were paying an hourly rate on a per man basis, our final cost remained consistent with the estimate even though we had done a significant amount of work beforehad the estimator assumed the movers would be doing. My overall impression of the move was that the crew was more concerned with speed than they were with being careful. We cringed a number of times as furniture was dinged, walls were bumped, and boxes were hastily loaded on dollies. We had a 3rd story bedroom in the old house with a spiral staircase and asked the movers to TRY and bring down a desk if they could. Unfortunately, we did not monitor this process, and by the time they called us up to report they were unable to get the desk down, they had gouged large chunks of drywall out of both the walls and ceiling which needed to be repaired and painted before the new owners took possession. When we arrived at the new house, the movers brought in our large, two-piece entertainment center. This was a heavy, solid wood (not particle board or laminate) relatively new piece purchased from a furniture store (not an assemble yourself unit) that consisted of a base cabinet and hutch. They placed the bottom cabinet in the living room and attempted to attach the hutch, at which point the base collapsed on one side. Upon inspection we saw that both the bottom and side were badly cracked and it seemed obvious the piece had been dropped at some point in the move. When we asked what had happened, they denied any knowledge of causing the damage; this denial was further supported by the fact that that they brought it in and attempted to attach the hutch. Fortunately for us, the hutch wasn't damaged as well during the process as it nearly fell when the base collapsed. Over the course of the next several days we found other minor damage that had not been reported to us: a hole punched through the back of a bookshelf; a wooden knob broken off my bureau dresser (which they obviously knew about since I found it tucked into one of the drawers); a box of glassware that had been either dropped or crushed - they were well-packed in a specialized box with individual cells and foam bags (I ended up with bags of glass instead of actual glasses). We took pictures and filed a damage claim with Fallon for the entertainment center and contacted the furniture store, who informed us that repairing the piece was not possible and it would need to replaced. Despite that, Fallon insisted on sending out a representative to view and see if it could be repaired. He concluded that the only way the damage he saw could have been done was if the piece had been dropped on the corner; however, he still wanted to try and get it repaired. We checked again with the furniture store and they confirmed (again) that the unit could NOT be repaired. Keep in mind this piece of furniture is responsible for housing about $1000 worth of TV and electronics. During this entire process and many phone calls, our move coordinator insisted that the company "wanted to make good" on the whole thing. When we all agreed that the only option was replacement, she asked us what it would take for us to be satisfied and my husband suggested we would be willing to split the cost of new piece (~$600 with tax and delivery) with them. She agreed this was fair and said she would get back to us. We went ahead and ordered a new base cabinet. Unfortunately, Fallon then informed us they were now only willing to reimburse us at the standard 60 cents per pound, for a total of $110. All in all, we are completely disillusioned with the fact that reputable moving companies - given what they charge - are not 100% liable for any damage they cause, and not just when you pay an additional premium plus deductible to get this coverage. We are upset that the movers attempted to conceal the various mistakes they made, and we are angry that at the end Fallon obviously had no desire to maintain a positive customer relationship. We would not used Fallon again and would not recommend this company based on our experiences.

Their organization was great. Their planning and their communication were great; but maybe, the touch rotten the process. On the whole, it was a pretty process.
