Excellent work, fair price, quick responses.

The owner, Leon Clark, came to the house promptly and provided a written estimate of the repairs needed and the total cost. He also indicated how long the job would take. The two workers were very efficient and unobtrusive. They were careful not to disturb ornamental shrubs and plants when erecting the scaffolding, and they removed objects on the deck in the rear that might have been damaged by falling debris. When finished, they replaced the deck objects and cleaned everything up. This repair job took just over 2 days. No problems were encountered, and we were billed exactly for the estimated cost. We were very satisfied and are happy to recommend this company to others.

Job was done today and it all looks great. They even had to come back to finish the job because I had a funeral to attend so they couldn't get in the basement for the cleaning. Hard working, nice guys. I wish they did carpentry work too. I would hire them again with hesitation.

I called and left a voice message, explaining the issue, and he quickly returned my call. He explained the procedure, his estimate was competitive, and we scheduled the work. He arrived promptly and worked diligently to complete the job. I contacted Clark Chimney because the reviews were so good, and I definitely found the right person. He explained everything in advance and answered my questions. I was so pleased with the quality of his work, that I scheduled another project with him.

We called and our call was promptly returned. We had an estimate from them right away but had to wait a week for two other estimates. After reviewing the three estimates I decided on Clark as their price was the best coupled withe the excellent reviews on Angie's List, it was an easy decision choosing Clark's. After installing the larger cap, I mentioned to Leon that the damper was locked in the open position. Leon then realigned it enabling us open and close the damper again. After fixing the damper we heard a bird chirping in the capped chimney. We told him we had chimney swifts so he had his assistant remove the cap and scare the bird outside. That's,what happened...then his assistant replaced and screwed in the cap back on. In addition to doing more than we asked for, the gutters were found totally blocked with pine needles. He offered to clean the gutters for an extra $60 when of course I told him to go ahead. I would recommend this company for any chimney work to anyone. They were one if not the most professional and honest companies I've ever hired.

The provider responded quickly to my call and gave me a quote on the same day. He was very straight forward and honest in his response to my questions. He did the work as agreed to and clean up his work area. I would hire again.

I ended up going with another vendor due to a scheduling issue but would have no issues with doing business with him in the future.

Leon is very honest. He doesn't do stuff that doesn't need to be done. If something needs to be done, he is on top of it. Safety is his main concern. We are so glad we found Clarks Chimney. When they leave they clean up their mess.

They had been recommended to us from our neighbors whom they did chimney work for and we are very happy we took their reference. They did the job in a timely manner and all seems to be done well. It was not a big job but their professionalism was outstanding. Rain delayed doing the work, and they kept in touch with us tyring to determine the best day. The first day available with reliable dry weather was the day after July 4, and even though this was a vacation day and it was 90 degrees and very humid, they came and finished the work. Very, very happy with them.

They organized everything for the job. They did not have a separate charge; it was one charge for both companies. They were very punctual, professional, and very organized. We already have another job with them.
