My experience with the Canine Company was positive from the start. I was able to make an appointment for service to be performed with a week. I was notified via phone of the time frame that the service would be done. I also received an email to let me know that the reps were on their way. The two service reps (one was a trainee) that performed the service were very professional. The work was completed efficiently and in a timely manner. I was kept informed of the process and progress during the repair. I would gladly use Canine Co for any future needs.

Very well -- representative came within designated time range, pleasant, professional, and courteous. One slight problem, his concrete saw wasn't working right so follow-up visit scheduled for a few days later to complete work. I don't have to be home for this.

Amazing. I can't imagine a better experience. They have a very straight-forward quoting system, so no mystery in their pricing. You choose what you want from a menu during the free quote. Their price is a fraction of the cost of any physical fencing options. They are very responsive and came back quickly (within 7 days) to install. Installation includes one free training session and I paid for 2 extra for added assurance. I am not sure if it was necessary, but my dog loved his trainer. He has had a couple corrections while learning, but the dog quickly learned the boundary and now stops 5 or so feet before the flags (was 10-15 to start). They returned last week to bury the wire because in mid-January, we were covered by snow so they just laid wire on boundary. We got the boundary plus technology, which allows do to go right up to/over wire before correction, instead of a couple feet away, adding extra room and works well if you already have some physical fencing around the yard. Other companies offering this service? The one I tried didn't even return my calls. I cannot imagine even thinking of using another solution or company. Canine Company now prices their wonderful product close to "no brainer" levels because they are so good and so competitive. All staff are pleasant, informed, and respectful. I wish they had other home services! This has really been the best service company I have dealt with yet as a new home owner. We live in Fairfield County.

Canine Co has a very good online appointment process. Unfortunately the in person experience was not good. The sales person did talk about their system and walked the yard for layout and measurement. However there was significant pressure to sign the contract during the meeting in order to obtain "special offer pricing ". Canine Co price list is very alacarte with multiple price points and quality options. The Invisible Fence base system is lower priced, but when you factor in the options that are really needed, such as training sessions, it gets pricey rather quickly.

We reached out to Canine Company in December to inquire about the assessment and activation of a previously installed Invisible Fence system. The technician came out to activate the fence and repair the broken wire. He was punctual, courteous and professional. A few months later (post a very snowy winter), we scheduled our first training appointment. Two trainers arrived on time and proceeded to install over 150 flags around our property. They were very patient with our dog (who tends to be very stubborn) and he showed us the appropriate lessons to reinforce with our dog between trainings. Today, was our second training, Nick and Heather showed up on time and were terrific. What has impressed me most about Canine Company is that 5 different individuals have showed up to perform services and all 5 displayed excellent service skills. All the associates were friendly, punctual, courteous and effective (at their specific roles). Overall, it was a great experience

It went flawlessly. Fence works great showed up on time. Work done in a few hours. Explained to us how to train the dog. Our dog is so happy now, she can freely run after squirrels, chipmunk, etc. She never runs off of the property boundaries so she never catches them.

Sales person tried to sell me a 'package' I did not need. Scheduling was messy - they changed the appointment time without asking me. The installer tells me the system won't work if I don't purchase training package from them. Then, they charged my card without giving me a copy of the bill! I had to call to request a copy sent by email. Then discovered that they had billed me for a 62$ battery plan that I hadn't asked for.

Love the concept. its been working great so far no issues. extremely satisfied with the product and best of oall we know our dog is safe and close by.

Overall I was pleased with The Canine Companies service and professionalism. However, I did have a problem. On the second training session the trainer needed to give my 15 lb Havanese a correction. They do this to all the dogs they train, so that they know not to go beyond the invisible fence. The trainer that came for the second visit was not the same as the first, as I understand it he was relatively new and had forgotten exactly how to set the correction for the collar. To make a long story short, he set the collar for a 75lb dog not a 15lb dog. He warned me my dog might yelp or be frightened, but I was not prepared for what happened. My little dog completely contorted, flew three feet in the air, and shrieked. He wouldn't go off the terrace for a week. When the third and last trainer came, I complained and explained what had happened. He discovered that the setting on the collar was wrong. He corrected the setting and scheduled a couple extra training sessions (free of charge) to help my dog over come his fear of the yard. It took much longer than the Canine Company originally said it would to train my dog to use the fence, but I'm happy to say my dog loves going out in the yard now.

The representative was on time and very polite. He went over all options and details of the product. Once we chose our option we set a date for instillation. On the day of install he showed up on time and installed our invisible fence. Once installed he went over on how it worked and how to train our dog. It works as described. We are very happy with service and the product.

They were awesome. They came out and there was a snowstorm and they put the cable down even though we have like 4 feet of snow in the ground. They were like, "No, we can do it now," and they did it and it's perfect. I have no problems with the system and it's just been excellent.

They were very prompt. They trained us. They came back a couple of times because we needed some additional training. There wasn't any cost for the additional training. The price was extremely reasonable and it was in the same ballpark as the other places we called.

I was notified by phone when the service tech was on his way. At that time I was reminded of the service plan that is offered, and since I had already purchased the battery replacement plan, I purchased the service agreement for a discounted price. I did not realize that the service plan is based on the number of pets using the system, so the discounted cost was $279. The tech was very nice and professional in both demeanor and appearance. He walked the perimeter of my fence, and then he checked my dog's collar. He found some issues so he replaced the collar ( which was covered by the agreement), adjusted the correction delay, gave me a few tips, and was on his way in under an hour. My only negative comments are the overall cost, and that you cannot request a time frame for service.

I received an email notifying me the trainer was on her way. She was very friendly and professional. She listened to what the problem was and then worked with my cat, which requires a lot of patience. Training a cat on the fence is very different than training a dog, and she gave me excellent tips. She also adjusted the collar so the correction happens more quickly. Since her visit, my cat has stayed in the yard. The visit, training session, additional flags, and leash were all covered under my service agreement.

The technician arrived on time and rehooked the wire that had been cut during driveway construction. Scheduled a time for someone to come out to cut the driveway for the wire to be placed in the cut and sealed. Due to blizzard, the company called to reschedule this part of the procedure. Technician arrived and was very professional and courteous. I expressed concern as to how our adopted dog reacted to the first warning beep of the system when it was first hooked up. He let me know that should we have any problems in training her, they have professionals who have worked with dogs afraid of the system before, and not to hesitate to give them a call.

the installation occurred promptly as promised, the training of the dogs followed for 5 days, trainer was awesome, our dogs loved him and looked forward to their daily class, during and after training the dogs immediately learned the fence limits I would highly recommend them, service was exactly as promised, a great company, we are totally pleased with the Invisible Fence Bruce and Janet Gaylordsville CT

I even accidentally broke the cable with my lawn mower and they fixed it for me with out charge. Great people. Great service

found the name on angie's list contacted company by email. they set a date then actually moved it up to an earlier date which was good for us. they came on time, were professional and got the whole job done in one visit.

All my doubts about the efficacy of invisible fencing are gone! IT WORKS! This company has been wonderful to work with.

Dealing with Canine Company was very easy. From scheduling, to speaking with a personable representative, and trainers, the entire experience was great. Although we had some old equipment, the rep was able to use most of it and never pressured us to spend more on a new collar or controller. Even before committing to an installation, the rep assessed our dog to see if he was a good candidate for an electronic fence containment system. They seemed really focused on providing clear explanations and making sure that we were in a good position to succeed. Highly recommended!

Great job overall. They found a few breaks in my dog fence and repaired them. They also buried some of the wire that was not already buried. Overall, they were only here 45min and it cost met $220, but if i did it myself it would have taken me a lot longer. They have the skills and the tools to get it done really fast

They wired around the yard. They flagged the entire property. They've been out to train two of my dogs. It was really successful.

They came out and installed the fence and provided the collars. They did a training for my dogs. I respected the guy who did the fence as a dog person. I've purchased a unit that goes in the kitchen to keep the dogs out of the kitchen, and have had them come out and service it.

We had a very good experience with Canine Fence from start to finish. Johanna arrived at our house right on time. She walked around our property and met our dog (a Bichon). She then did a very thorough and professional job explaining the system and our options. She knew that we had previously dealt with a competitor and, when her price came in above the competitor's, she offered us a price that was comparable. We scheduled an installation date for the following week. Josh arrived on time and did a very neat and professional job installing the system. He then conducted the first training session which went extremely well. We continued the training as he had taught us to do and then, about a week later, Johanna came back to adjust the strength level of the system as planned and to conduct the second session which also went quite well. The result is that our dog has very quickly learned the system and we can now let her go out without any worries. We would highly recommend Canine Fence.

I couldn't imagine people being more helpful, professional, or quick. It was insane. They were astounding.
