I called and was left on and automated queue for 5 min. After that someone picked up (she didn't identify herself), asked me to hold, curtly demanded I turn down my radio, and placed me on hold mid word as I tried to apologize and say I was in a Starbucks with no control over the background music. Waited several more minutes on hold. Eventually when she came back and I briefly told her I may have a frozen pipe. She asked and I gave my phone number. I was told I would get a call back. I tried to ask of that would be in minutes or hours and was hung up on mid word. Again. Unless I have absolutely no choice I would NEVER trust these people with my business. Imagine if there was a follow up issue with their work - which would not surprise me given how little they seem to value the people that call.

It was wonderful. He game on a SUNDAY, stopped the leak, came back the next day and replaced the water heater. Service was expert: what I needed was done and done very well. EXCELLENT work!

I was really impressed with Mike's responsiveness and professionalism. The unit he picked for us works really well and the installation was very clean. I knew the installation would require cutting open the wall, but it was done really cleanly. Mike is really good working with people's schedules. I basically left a check on the kitchen sink and the work was done when I got home.

Many years ago Petrine installed gas furnace...pretty expensive but quality work and no probs over 20 years

Mike's a really nice guy who works quickly but takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. When I've left a message he's always gotten back to me within a day (I get it - if he's on a job he might not call back immediately, but i'm sure he would if you said it was an emergency). I think his prices are reasonable but I don't have much basis for comparison. I trust him and I'd use him again.

Mike showed up on time as promised. Removed the old leaking water heater and installed the new one as promised (we requested the same brand as the old one). Explained all the options and showed how to operate the new unit. Hi went out of his way and spent some time advising on some other plumbing problems we were having. We are very satisfied with his service and would use him again.

Called several Angie's list and quot;Aand quot; rated service providers. Wanted to give business to local business if possible. Coldest day of the year after 8 inches of snow, many of the providers could not repair the leak for four to five days. Mike asked us to send him a picture of the leak and he came that same day at 6pm on a Friday night. He gave a lot of practical advise. We plan on having Mike come back to replace a toilet. We were very pleased with the work.

I have already scheduled more work for him.

Responsive, personal and professional. Mike did a good job adding/replacing discharge tubes on our water heater and gas furnace. I would definitely use him again.

After contacting Petrone Plumbing about replacing our old, leaking water heater, they found the heater we needed, quoted us a price, and came out and did the install, all within 48 hours of contacting them. The install was easy for us, they were happy to do it while we were at work. They were professional, and even emailed us an invoice afterwards.

I could not believe that Mike actually came out on a Sunday and replaced my leaking hot water heater. I had a house full of people for Labor Day weekend. Mike was great. As soon as he heard the tank was leaking he rushed over to my house after stopping to get a replacement tank. I didn't realize how dangerous a leaking hot water heater could be. He replaced the tank, was very professional, and offered me some advice on how to extend the life of the tank. Very pleased with the work.

Cannot evaluate this provider's work as I never heard from him regarding my request for an estimate to fix leaking tub/shower faucets.

Petrone Plumbing and Heating LLC did an excellent work. Their price was little bit higher than reasonable price. They always did what they said on time.

I originally received a quote that was much higher from the #1 rated plumbing company in the area per Angie's List. I'm glad a coworker recommended MIchael as he went above and beyond the norm and did an amazing job on all three of my small plumbing projects. I am new to the area and I'm relieved I found a true professional plumber to handle my future requirements. I highly recommend Michael.

Service was pricey but excellent workmanship

Mike is a craftsman at his work. When the new boiler was installed, it looked like a metal sculpture. All pipes were nearly re-routed and fastened in place in precise 90 degree bends with all new zone valves, purge valves, water make up valve, low water shut-off valve and many other required and extra valves for convenience for future servicing. He even rerouted our drier vent so that it looked neater and worked more effeciantly ( no charge). for the first time in years, we have even heat in all our rooms, and the new Utica boiler is quiet and efficient - we can hardly hear it run - a great recommendation. We have had our share of bad luck with contractors over our 30 years here in town, but Mike has renewed my faith and I totally recommend him for any major plumbing job you may have. We are already planning our next project with Mike - a redone second bathroom off our downstairs play room. I'm not big on writing reviews, but i enjoyed doing this. If there was a rating above A, Mike would get an A++. You can trust that Mike of Petrone Plumbing is the only plumber you will ever need !!! You can also rely on Angie's List !!

It was a positive experience. He was very good. He was available and came on time. He did a neat job. He told me that my hot water heater was rusting and I needed a new one. I don't know if I would use him in the future because of the price. I would shop around.

In December 2011 we added a natural gas clothes dryer to our basement in a spot where there was no natural gas line. The company selling us the dryer said we'd need a plumber to add a gas line, so we tried several nearby plumbers who scored well in the local Angie's List. The first three apparently weren't interested, since they didn't return calls. Petrone Plumbing did return our morning call that same evening. I discussed the job with Mike over the phone. He asked good, pertinent questions and gave a preliminary time and cost estimate. We set a date for him to come to the house (early in the morning) and take a look, having agreed that he would then set a final price, and, if that was agreeable, he'd go out to buy the necessary materials and do the work and quot;in a couple of hoursand quot;. On the set date and time he arrived, looked over things, described what he'd do, and gave a price. We agreed on the price. and Mike went off to buy parts. He did the work, as discussed, on his return, finishing by noon. Mike was careful to minimize the time we were without gas (he needed to shut it off at the meter). He made sure gas was getting to the dryer and our other appliances. He cleaned up after himself. He seemed to operate quickly and efficiently. His work looked good to our eyes (we are not plumbers). Mike was easy to talk with; generally, doing business with him was a pleasure. The entire experience was smooth and professional. The work just got done. When the folks who sold us the dryer later came to finish the installation (vent, leveling, testing, etc.) they complimented Mike's work, saying he used good materials and routed the gas line the best way. They thought his work much better than average.

He did a good job on every aspect. Mike is his first name. He gave me some advice on some other stuff that I found to be very helpful. His price was reasonable and pretty cool. He was on time and called me right away.
