Tom's crew were great , they were on time everyday. I could not believe how neat they were considering all the cutting and work they had to do. The guys were very polite and I was comfortable with everyone. Tom answered all our questions and was very honest, we would have them back anytime. Thank You, Lou & Karen Faraci

I signed up for maintenance service for an old A/C to see if a cleaning and recharge might pick up an old central air unit that wasn't keeping up with the heat and humidity of this summer. I was worried that it might be totally shot. I signed up on AL and then called the office as instructed. The receptionist explained to me that we would receive a call at 8:30 on Monday and they would schedule an appt for either that day or Wednesday, based on the # of problems that were called in over the weekend. They also said that based on my symptoms they might have to add some freon and that it would cost be whatever $/lb for one of two types if it was required. They called right at 8:30 on the dot and set up a window around lunchtime. Anthony came out right around noon and was excellent. Took care of the system and added a little coolant, and the unit works great again. We received a bill in the mail a few days later for the balance, and everything went as expected .... no surprises, excellent job!

Terrible. Would never use or call again! Unprofessional. Not even courteous enough to return 2 VMs and a detailed email requesting quotes to have a lot of work done. Maybe if you beg them, they will come to work for you....

Everything went very well from the fist phone call to the install.

I called and talked to Tom. I told him what I needed and he told me that he was overbooked due to the current heatwave. He then continued to talk to me for 15 mins about how I could possibly solve the problem on my own or wait a couple weeks for him to get available. Tom knew what he was talking about. I wish all companies had people like this in charge. We are going to wait the 2 weeks. Sometimes you have to wait for good things

Work went wellQuick and efficient

Central AC stopped working during 90+ degree heat wave. Call several HVAC companies, with little response. Some told me it would 5 days before they could come. Mull Brothers call back soon after I left a message and told me they could come between 1 and 2 in the afternoon, and they were here between 1 and 2, closr to 1. They went right to work, found the problem, had to go get the part and wihtin a hour and a half the AC system was up and running. They were very professional, courtious and I highly recommend them. I will not hesitate to use them in the future.

We could not have been more pleased with the professionalsim, knowledge and work ethic of these fellas. They were prompt, focused anddid more than originally asked for BUT it was needed. They were courteous and polite and cleaned up after themselves. Will DEFINATELY hire them again.Also, thinking of signing up fortheir oil service in the coming months. (they informedusthey dooil burner work also).

The woman I spoke to was very helpful in getting service men to our home on the same day. The men were prompt and worked efficiently. My only complaint was that before my husband came home the service technicians spoke to me and I was able to provide them with answers. Once my husband came home, they switched to talking to him. Make sure you figure out in advance what service you will need if you plan on using/purchasing the coupon BEFORE the visit or it will not apply.

They were a pleasure to do business with. If the rest of the team is like Anthony, chances are you'll be satisfied as well.

Tom Mull and his employees did a fantastic job installing central air in our home. I received estimates from a number of firms before choosing Mull Bros. Generally, when I speak with service providers, I am very cautious and focus on two things, in addition to price: quality of service and honesty (which is critical). After talking to several firms, I chose Mull Bros because I felt most comfortable with them on both fronts. Tom patiently answered all of my questions, both during his initial visit and when I called him after reading other proposals. His employees were very professional throughout the installation, and his electrical contractor did a great job too. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I feel as though it is rare to find a trustworthy, high quality service provider with excellent customer service. I'm happy to say that I signed on with Mull Bros as a heating oil customer too.

I'll summarize my experience with Tom from Mull Brothers here and explain in detail below for anyone interested. These are facts: -Tom from Mull Brothers was late to our appointment -Tom Parked in neighbors driveway -Tom left less than five minutes after arriving late -Tom's Jeep has a wheel cover that says "W**" in big letters -Tom's appointment with me was at 2pm. His next appointment was at 2:40pm Does the above sound like a professional you would like to hire? Here are the details: I contacted Mull Brothers for a bid to convert my multifamily duplex from oil to gas. I also want to add a larger water heater and some additional gas lines for gas stoves. Our appointment was set for 2pm on April 4, 2012. I contacted Mull Brothers because they had good reviews on Angieslist. Unfortunately, my experience with Tom from Mull Brothers was aggravating and unpleasant for several disappointing reasons. I will list all of those reasons here for your benefit when considering Mull Brothers for your job.Firstly, Tom arrives seven minutes late: an admission he makes in the voicemail he leaves at my place of business.Secondly, He parks his jeep in the neighbor's driveway out of our site. Thirdly, he rings the disabled doorbell (due to solicitors) on my front door, which to his defense he did not know about. Regardless, he admits to seeing my wife and daughter in the front window, yet did not think to wave at them or wait a few minutes (three). After seeing him, my wife informs me of his arrival. I walk out of the side door of my duplex to meet him while I'm on the phone with his office to find out his status. By the time I get to the front of the duplex (1 minute maybe) he's gone. I notice a jeep at the stop sign speed around the corner with a large wheel cover on the back labeled "W**", but no Tom. Mull Brother's office tells me they find Tom and connect him with me. We have a heated discussion which results in his disqualifying himself from my business with reasons four and five: Fourthly, he confirms that indeed it was his jeep with the wheel cover labeled "W**" in big letters, and; Fifthly, he left to arrive at a 2:40pm appointment after being late to our 2pm appointment. I am a business man working out of downtown Hartford, CT. The question remains: Does the above sound like a professional worthy of your business?

Tom came over to access the job and give us an estimate shortly after our initial call. He was right on time and was extremely informative and knowledgeable. Since there was an addition to the house, running duct work was going to be a challenge, but Tom explained the entire process including the anticipated difficulties. We accepted his proprosal on the spot and work began the following week. Tom assured me that their work was meticulous and that there was an emphasis on keeping the home as clean and dust-free as possible. We were so pleased to find that was true. Technicians Sal & Anthony were fantastic. They arrived each day at the time they stated and were very personable and unobtrusive. They made sure to clean up at the end of each day, including vaccuming the floors. At the end of the project all of their tools and trash were picked up like they were never here. We didn't have to do a thing. Tom was here every day to check on the progress and work right along with the guys. When all was done, Tom showed us how everything works and tolds us not to hesitate to call with any questions or problems. We couldn't be happier. and highly recommend Mull Brothers. In fact, we plan to use Mull Brothers again to do an oil to gas conversion at my daughter's home!

Called Mull Bros for an estimate on A/C options. Tom Mull came out yesterday- at the time scheduled-- and gave us a very thorough evaluation of A/C options. We've yet to receive an estimate, but will likely do business with this company if the price is right. I will follow up on services/completion if applicable.

Bob Mull discussed options and quoted a couple of different systems. Quick response, job was done two days after contracted. Job was done very professionally. Crew arrived on time, did the work without any damage and cleaned up. Price was the best of the three quotes that I got and Bob provided paperwork needed to apply for an available High Efficiency Heating & Cooling Rebate. I would definately recommend Mull Bros and would use them again.

Very prompt with estimate. Willing to answer all questions and very easy to understand what would be done. Everything was very professional from start to finish. Very happy with install. Saving $100 a month on electric with switch to gas water heater. Gas bill stayed the same!

This company was my first choice for an oil boiler replacement. They met me quickly, educated me and gave me they best price estimate. We eventually decided to take on the additional expense and convert to natural gas. Something we hadn't considered until another person asked if we already had natural gas coming into the house. Since the Mull Brothers seemed interested in also becoming my oil provider (reasonable expectation I guess) I did not check back with them to see if they also do gas conversions.

Job went perfectly and was done very professionally. Crew arrived as agreed, did the work without any damage or marks to wall and cleaned up completely. Wall unit fits perfectly in the space and looks great. Price was very reasonable compared to quotes from other companies.

They discussed possbilities of how to the correct situation. They ended up taking and replacing the pipe via jack hammering the living room. They completed the work in three days. We would use them again.

The technician was very responsive and accommodating in scheduling. He also arrived punctually, and diagnosed the problem plus noticed an additional minor issue. He fixed both problems promptly. I felt that I received good professional service.

Everything went well. I had known of them previously and noticed that they had several good reports on Angie's List which prompted me to hire them.

Unbelievably reliable, quick and excellent work. Responsive and fair price

It is a small, family owned company. They are pretty responsive and quick to call back with any questions that I have. With the service contract, they come right away to handle any problems. As far as I can tell, the quality of their work is good. The workers are very professional and friendly. They do a good job.
