I wanted to handle by email, he accommodated. He came, gave the quote and marked the tree that matched my description to make sure it was the one I was talking about, and took it down a few days later. From first contact to chopping it down was maybe a week and a half. I have a very busy schedule and never saw him in person once, all handled via emails. When he took the tree down he left a self addressed envelope which I mailed a check back to him. Super easy, very professional, and looks great. Not to mention he was HALF the price of the other quote I got. If I need another tree removed in the future I have no doubt I will go back to Bruce Graver.

The crew that came out to complete the job was friendly and hard working. They said they would be over within a week, but started the next day! I would definitely use them again.

Responded to my request for an estimate within 24 hours - providing a comprehensive description of work to be provided. This really saves time when comparing estimates. With this kind of work, you want to know if the debris is going to be removed as part of the cost. Completed the work within 24 hours of contract being awarded. Team members were all professional, polite and friendly. The work was beyond my expectations - You would never know those trees had been there. They removed all the wood chips and debris and left my yard clean as a whistle. I would highly recommend this company and am actually going to ask them to do further work for me later in the month.

I found Graver personable and professional, from quoting through project execution. Quoting happened very promptly, and the work started the following week. Graver tree service structure their jobs by crew, so we had one crew in the morning taking down and chipping up the trees into the back of a truck, followed by a stump-grinder that arrived later, followed by a stump-chip removal and clean-up crew. The clean-up crew, had a small front-loader tractor to take away excess grind-chips and cleaned up the lawn area after the stump grinder using rakes and leaf blowers. The lawn looked as before Graver came to do work, except for some tire depressions from the tree removal truck. The drivers took care not to tear the lawn up, and the depressions are not more than I was expecting, I'm only mentioning it in case whoever is reading isn't thinking to expect that. Once the last crew removed the excess chip piles from the old maple stump, they found two thick "legs" of roots near the surface that had been hidden by the chips. They called in to have the grinder come back out then told me they had called it in. The grinder returned the following morning/day and finished. I wasn't home so I'm not sure if he cleaned up himself, or if the cleanup guys also returned, all I know is that by the time I was home the following day, everything was perfect. I bought two bags of nice soil, watered down the wood-chips, spread the new soil on top, added grass seeds and expect the grass to grow in nicely within a few weeks, hiding the fact that the trees had ever been there. Of the 5 quotes I got for the job, Graver gave the best price, though they were all within a couple of hundred of one-another, most expensive to least expensive. Overall, I found Graver and his crews of workers to be timely, professional and hard working and I would use them again in a heartbeat. A+

I had the police show up at my door because my neighbor was upset when a tree in my yard fell over into their yard and bent their fence. I called Graver Tree Service the next morning at 6:30am and Mr. Graver answered my call. He explained what my responsibility was and if I was responsible for removal of the tree from my neighbor's yard and my options. It turned out that I was only responsible for the cost to remove the tree that was in my yard. Two days later the tree was removed and I also had the service take care of a tree that died after a storm.

The Graver workers were very hard working and thorough. The trees had many large, dead branches.

Bruce Graver (the owner) was prompt in returning a phone call (within about 24 hours). His employees showed up and quot;the following weekand quot; to take care of the trees, just as he said they would. They worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and reinstalled my stockade fence when they were done. And the price is just right. The pruned trees look good, although they took off much more than I expected they would. This is the first time I have ever had trees pruned, so I really can't make a judgment on this, just warning others who hire a tree expert that this can happen. I have hired Graver Tree Care in the past, and will continue hiring them in the future, as needed. The only recommendation I would like to add is that he and his customers are both clear on what the time frame means; When they say and quot;next weekand quot; does it mean that Graver Tree Care will call you back next week to give you a definite date, or will they work on your property sometime and quot;next week.and quot; I was surprised to get a phone call, while I was at work, telling me that they were at my house. A warning would definitely have been nice. All in all, a good experience.

Bruce contacted me within 24 hours of my request for quote. Provided a quote for the task within 24 hours. The price was excellent and could be scheduled quickly. Sent his crew out, arrived on time, performed the work, cleaned up and leveled the areas. Spectacular work across the board.

The work was done quickly, professionally and the price was right. Very good clean up as well afterward which is very important.

he came promply to give me an estmete we descoused what i would like doon and would look the best on the day thay did the work thay where hear early and got right to work i end up taking down 8 trees the plan was only three so thay did spend the day here thay cleaned up al the leaves and twigs so nouthing was left my yard looks twice the size and it looks GREAT!!!!!!!

The owner of the company showed up, he did everything he said he was going to do. Reasonable price.

The owner's son and crew used their and quot;spiderand quot; crane to maneuver to the tree's location. They worked together as a team to skillfully drop limbs. They parked their chipper by the side of our garage and hand-carried the limbs to be chipped. They also hand-carted the large trunk sections to their truck. We requested the and quot;spiderand quot; and hand work so that our recent drainage work and lawn would not be disturbed. They were great and neat!

The team brought in all the right equipment and a very large crew for the service. The foreman and the owner were very professional, punctual with a very responsive and an efficient crew. While the price estimated was given before the contract and the eventual price was as per the estimates, In retrospect, the price seemed on the higher side for the amount of work done.

Left the area clean. I would use them again in the future.

Really great folks! I contacted 5 different places before. They either came back with much higher estimates or didn't call back with estimates or, in one case, gave an estimate, came out, and didn't do the job (bucket didn't reach). Graver was wonderful, start to finish. They came out right away, gave a really good price, came out and did the job when they said they would and did an excellent job. SUCH a relief, especially after all the less than wonderful experiences.

Tree was quite large and had a 28 inch diameter at the base. Tree was also very close to a garage (several inches away). Tree was removed without any damage to the building and with minimal disruption to the surrounding property. The crew completely cleaned up the site.

Bruce called us and said that they would be out the next day. Early SUNDAY morning the crew arrived and promtly sized up the job and again informed me on how the tree would be taken down. By 12 noon the tree was a memory and the stump was ground up. All that was left was the main trunk and that was picked up within minutes by another crew. Some of the lawn was sceuffed up and Graver's stated that they would repair the area. Early the next day, they arrived with dirt and reseeded the area. Overall, the whole process was like clockwork-

We recently purchased a house and quot;in the woodsand quot; that had had little to no previous tree work or maintenance done on the property (I think forever). We had 11 trees (of 4 varieties) and 12 stumps removed. Some of these trees were very large (trunks 3+ feet in diameter). We also had two other very tall (60') trees, on the property line, pruned away from the house. At one time there were over 10 men, from 3 of Bruce's crews ,working on the large project. In addition to their knowledge and professionalism there were a couple of intangibles that stood out – for example: one branch from the very high trimming took a weird bounce and cracked a small cellar storm window (within two hours the window was fixed and replaced). Their teamwork was another asset. Everyone just appeared to know what everyone was responsible for and doing at any given time. One of the first trees they cut was left half standing (the trunk was left at a height of 5’). When I questioned them they said that the remainder would be flush cut later (it turned out to be two days later) after the 5' section was used to leverage and direct the felling of the last (and largest tree). Everything from the moment they arrived had to have been carefully planned out in advance. I was even advised to keep certain trees and given valuable leads for future yard work. As the project proceeded I asked for additional work; e.g. carting off of additional brush and already downed trees (again - some very large) and extra clearing and removal of stumps. Bruce's initial and later final adjusted price was extremely reasonable.and more than competitive with others we had received. Graver’s Tree came highly recommended (by many local people) and had the highest Angie’s rating. They did not disappoint. I would both recommend them and use them again.

Called asked for estimate and the owner came out gave me a quote and the work was completed on time. Nice people, would use again.

The men arrived on time and worked very hard. They informed me what they were doing every step of the way. They removed the dead branches and pruned my tree. I was very impressed by their professionalism! They cleaned up the area very well too. That morning, I knew my neighbor needed her tree pruned and called her over to speak with Mike. After my house, they headed next door to prune her tree! Great service!!Next Spring, I plan to have more work done and will definitely use them!

Crew showed up and got right to work (5 guys and 3 trucks). Bucket truck used for front two trees. Crew climbed the other four trees and trimmed damaged and dead branches. All debris removed and yard was nice and clean after. No noticeable damage to yard. This was the only tree crew that did not insist that they drive their bucket trucks into the backyard. One of the other tree crews told me that they would most likely destroy my lawn in the process and that they were not responsible. NOT SO WITH GRAVER! Totally professional crew. I will use them in the future for my tree maintenance. My only complaint was that I did not know when they would be here. I would've liked a days notice that they were coming. But that is a minor detail, these guys ARE the best!!!

I called Bruce on Sunday and by Wednesday the next week the entire job was completed. We use Bruce for all of our tree work (for the past 22 years). He is always quick to respond, and fits in our jobs as quickly as possible. His crew is professional, they clean up what they do and I would highly recommend them. They may not always be the lowest price, but you get what you pay for. I've learned the hard way - Bruce is the only one we call when we need advice on our trees or tree work to be done.
