Description of Work: I hired Gove restoration to repair some rotting wood from the exterior of our 1920's home. Specifically, window trim, window sills and kickboards for the entry doors. Given the age of the home, everything needed to me made by hand as the windows, etc are not standard sizes. |They provided a free estimate, which is not always the case, and their end bill came in vary close to the estimate, varying only because of additional rot we uncovered as the job progressed. |The B for responsiveness is because it was at time hard to get a hold of people to confirm job start dates and such. It was the height of summer thought, and they are a very busy, family owned company. In my opinion, that's sometimes the tradeoff with working directly with the owner. |The plus side of working directly with Matt Gove was the easy resolution to one minor issue I raised. |Overall, the crew and especially the foreman, were respectful and pleasant and left the work area clean and tidy.
