D & D Fence LLC

Description of Work: My neighbor hired D&D Fence to replace and install a new fence in their yard which is adjacent to mine. I was appalled at their total disregard for adjacent property as they removed the fence and installed the new one. Workers from D&D entered my fenced-in yard without my permission and began cutting limbs off my trees without my permission to enter the yard or cut anything. The next time they returned and I heard the chainsaws, I looked out to see that they had dug a trench along the new fence line and were taking a chainsaw to the roots of one of my trees in order to install one of the fence posts. I ran out to see exactly what they were cutting and found they had cut a large section out of one of the bigger roots. The tree is almost 30' high so I was immediately concerned that the tree would fall. The individual who seemed to be supervising the activity was rude and would not respond to my concerns, nor would he stop the damage to my tree. As I suspected, the damage caused the tree stability to weaken and it fell over during the storm this week. There are 6 similar pine trees in my yard -- which fortunately escaped the chainsaws of D&D fence-- that are all still standing. The only tree that fell was the once beautiful, healthy tree that D&D butchered the roots of, and that tree is now laying in the middle of my backyard. Fortunately, no one was injured when it fell, nor was my home damaged but had it not been for D&D Fence, I'm sure this tree would be standing today. I would caution anyone considering hiring D&D Fence -- they are only concerned with the installation of their product and have no regard for anyone or anything that gets in the way of that including damaging neighboring property. I have photographs of all of this and would be willing to share.
