As a subcontractor for some of the best New Home Builders in CT. for the last 25 years i have been in and out of tens of thousands of new homes. I have seen ok work, cookie cutter work and true craftmanship. This company is true craftsmanship. my home could not have been done better. Was the price up there ,yes ! but you definitely get what you pay for. Alside Prodigy siding ,considered the best siding you can buy if your looking for great energy efficiency improvement on your home as well as beautiful siding with great colors to choose from and combinations of beautiful chosen styles clapboard at the a frames with straight siding and stone veneer at the foundation. Marylou Martino , what an owner, spoke to someone whom she sided 15 years ago and was told if he calls her she will be there. tastefully worked with my wife to end up with a finished product that i was in love with and my extremely happy. The crew as professional and experienced as you can get, you can see that they know wat their doing, polite ,clean and unbelievable work. No rush job, measure 3x cut once. Derek the supervisor....wow, 25 years experience, his work looks like 50 years experience, do your self a favor if he suggest something listen and do it. 25 years i have been a subcontractor, i have a pretty good eye for the real deal companies. This is one of them. Do yourself another favor hire them you will not be sorry ! Oh and by the way an energy efficient home improvement qualifies fir a federal 30% tax credit. Better Homes Siding & Improvements did an amazing job residing our home in Wethersfield. It really looks like a brand new house and we could not be happier with how it turned out. Better Homes Siding and Improvements is an A+ company. Mary Lou and her crew go way beyond their jobs. They arrive on time, picked up after themselves, very responsible, trustworthy and will do whatever to make the customer happy and satisfied. I recently had an old wooden deck taken off and on new one put on a second floor. I used this company about 6 years ago for siding and 54 windows put in the home. I love the windows and 3 years ago, a new roof which Mary Lou helped with having it replaced. I am so happy with them that I don't ever bother getting prices from other contractors. Don't need to because I know she will go through whatever extremes she and her crew has to for the customer to be happy. She works non- stop including weekends which is unheard of. She is honest and very meticulous in her work and will stop by to make sure the crew is up to her standards. Her crew is unbelievable and their attention to fine details and great ideas are so welcoming. I am now waiting for new doors which Mary Lou has worked endlessly on finding what I wanted and needed. I won't work with anyone else but this company. The best is that Mary Lou stands behind her work and I have called her throughout the years with questions or problems that may have come up. She returns phone calls usually within 24 hours and will meet with you at your convenience.

After being left in the lurch for over a year from another contractor, Better Homes Siding and Improvements stepped in to save the day. Our last contractor was awful and unresponsive, but Better Homes was amazing. They walked us through everything, finished the job in a timely manner and whenever I call with questions or spoke to the crew working on the house, they fulfilled my request. Would recommend them to anyone who needs improvements for their home. Best contractor I have hired since buying my home ten years ago!

They did an excellent job on the vinyl siding on my house. Marylou was always available when needed and would call me to make sure I was happy with the work that was being done. Even after the job was done and paid for Marylou would still answer the phone or call right back and sent some one out immediately to fix a few little issues. Would highly recommend this company.

Not only did they install all my vinyl siding but they replaced some windows and sliding door. This job was done a few years ago. Recently I contacted them for a repair. They were out here the next day and took care of the piece of facia that came off in a storm. Did a beautiful job, were quick, polite and told me if I needed anything else to give them a call. They back their workmanship and products 100%.

Rep was courteous and provided estimate . Siding technicians arrived promptly and completed work in timely fashion and left the area as clean as when they arrived.

We are still waiting for the projects to be scheduled, but so far the customer service has been great Mary Lou is a gem at planning the project of Roof and Siding.
