I previously had hired a different company with extremely high grades and great reviews on Angies List. They talked a good game, charged me good money, and did absolutely nothing to solve my problem. I did not know how bad they were until I called Advanced Pest Control who were excellent in every way. Jessie came out to the house, and in 5 minutes told me more about mice and how to get rid of them than the last company did in two visits. He did an extremely thorough inspection around the entire perimeter of the house indicating possible entry points and, where possible, sealing up or alleviating the issue. He asked me a ton of questions about our home and yard, and provided me a wealth of knowledge, including tips on maintaining the yard to discourage mice. After the inspection, he set traps and bait stations, told me what to look for, and how to clean up the mess the mice had made in my basement. After the initial visit and a couple of follow ups to determine progress, there is zero evidence of any additional mice in the house now going on two years, which is pretty amazing considering how easily they were entering previously. Jessie has since advised that we likely don't even need an annual check up given the lack of evidence now for two years (although I will continue to have him do regular checkups). The price for the initial inspection and treatments and follow up visits were far below the previous company I used. It also helps that Jessie is a great guy, fun to talk to, and is more than willing to impart his extensive knowledge. His office staff are also great and very helpful. I would recommend Advance Pest Control as highly as any contractor I have used in the 10 years I have been in my home

They came back after they set the trap. When they came back the second time, they were able to get rid of the rodent in the front porch.

It went great. The service provider was on time and very professional. This is the third year we have used them and we recommend them highly.

We had mice that loved our attic. I called Advanced and they came within two days. They placed what they call RTUs throughout the attic, as well as a few in the garage and basement. They looked around those same areas for signs of mice. They found some, mostly in the attic. Because we have a dog they left information regarding the chemical in the RTUs just in case our dog ingested any and we needed to take him to the vet. They told us to give it three weeks and if we still heard the mice we were to call them. We did still hear the mice after three weeks. We called and they came out again within about two days. They reapplied the treatment at no additional cost. Since then we have not heard any more mice.

Appeared to be knowledgeable and through. Also looked at ants. They were also going to treat for Carpenter bees but the bees had disappeared since I made the appointment.The Carpenter bees go dormant or die in the last week of May/first week of June. They fly around and check their iPhone calendars as to when to go away. All kidding aside, the representative told me about the seasonality of the bees and that I could fill the holes with caulk and paint the wood as Wood bees don't like paint.

Flying squirrels are an endangered species and I wanted them relocated - but since the problem was misdiagnosed and rat poison was thrown out, I'm sure some of them ate it and died a horrible death. Sal was very understanding once he figured out it was flying squirrels and helped me relocate them, but as I said, I'm sure some died. I was charged for the mice $200, which I shouldn't have been charged for and the flying squirrels $400. The owner gave me a lot of grief because I wanted the flying squirrels relocated. Sal was nice, but the owner was unpleasant.

For what they did, their price was pretty good. I would use them again in the future.

Repeated visits failed to stop the ants. Technician told me a long story about global warming and bad winters being the cause. That was interesting but I wanted the ants to stop invading my house. I finally found the point of entry, at ground level under the kitchen window went to my local hardware store and bought some spray and some goop to seal the hole. I can't understand how the technician failed to see the hole, light was coming through it ! Our little critters never returned, nor will Advanced Pest.

They gave us as 10% coupon for being an Angie's List member. There were bees living in the ground beneath our bushes. He was easily able to locate the bees. It seemed like they did a good job. He said if it didn't work, they would come back free of charge. He was very good and a nice guy.

Found the company through Angie's List and couldn't be happier. When I called initially, the person helping me over the phone was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and courteous and told me what the process would be and answered a lot of my questions being that this is my first house and I did not know a lot about pests in the local area. An appointment for an exterminator was set up for the following Thursday. The service was exceptional and through. What I really liked about this company was that they did not pressure me into any type of service contract. As a matter of fact they don't advise a service contract unless the problem gets to be reoccurring. So far the treatment seemed to have worked and the carpenter ant population seemed to have abated. The earwig population seems to be drastically decreased as well but I still see one every few days (but it's usually dead or dying). The professional said that it would take about 3 weeks for it to take full effect. I will definitely be using Advance Pest Control again should I have another pest problem in the future. Lastly, the company is family owned and local. This company has generations of experience and I like to support the local businesses as long as they are knowledgeable and effective.

The serviceman named Sal came ten minutes early. Performed the job in 30 minutes. Explained the details of the situation. Gave me information about the pesticides used to control the situation. He was polite, informative, and professional.

He was friendly, courteous, and helpful. He gave me recommendations of what to do to keep the ants out of my home. He also gave me suggestions for how to treat my floors. He was thorough with his explanation.

The serviceman was great, prompt, professional and took time to explain what was going on, where the ants were living, how the product worked, and how to determine whether or not they were gone. He also looked for the entrance that they might be using and waited to see if he saw any going into the house.

The guy that came was great and he gave me some ideas on how to handle certain pests that come in the future. He is also going to get back to me to make sure that they pests don't reappear. I spent $100 on that service. I would tell others that they would be worth calling. Originally it was going to be $270 for that service, but they did not feel that the bug invasion was in status and I thought it was. They were able to clear it up without charging me the regular service charge for the whole thing, but put it more under an inspection. They were excellent and knowledgeable. Even when I called the office, the lady over the phone was also knowledgeable. She gave me a lot of informative information and tried to determine what type of bugs they were and she explained how they could have gotten in there. They were busy, so it took a couple of days, but if it was an emergency I would imagine that they would have come out sooner.

The gentleman who came out gave me solutions that I could implement myself, rather than charging me a fee for a simple service. I didn't do any shopping around, but I thought that the price was reasonable. The quality of the work was fine. They came out the same day that I called. Their punctuality was spot on, and they were very professional.

I was not happy with him. I told him that my windows were full of ants and he just sprayed the side of the house and the basement. He said he did not see any ants. When I got the windows replaced millions of ants came out. He had not even sprayed there. He was friendly though he did not do a good job. He had actually told me that if I find any ants he will come back within a month, but by then I had my windows replaced. He came out right away so he was responsive. He was here when he said he would be. Since he did not do his job well, so I don’t think he was professional.

APC was very responsive, very professional, very thorough, very helpful and very effective. They were able to answer questions about other household pests as well.

Very well. For a few weeks, I was hearing a constant tick/click sound in the ceiling of our master-bath. I thought carpenter ants, termintes, maybe wood-bees. I was planning to check it myself, but something told me I should call a professional. The technician arrived on time. He listened, touched the ceiling and wall, and then went outside to observe that corner of the house. Sure enough, there were yellow-jackets entering/exiting under the facia. He then explained that the bees were excavating the ceiling sheetrock. He had two approaches, spray from the outside and see what happens over time or drill some holes in the ceiling to spray. I was fine with a few small holes to patch/paint. That he did, drilled and sprayed. Well, come to learn, the bees were a layer of paint away from breaking through the ceiling and being in the house. The tech then suited-up in the full beekeeper suit (spooked the heck out of our 65lb GoldenDoodle), went up in the attic and vacuumed the dead bees and removed the nest. Since we were addressing the bee problem, I decided it was time to address the mouse issue that has become al lot worse after we had to put our cat to sleep. I had not idea he was keeping these critters away so well. The tech placed bait trap along the perimeter of the basement and garage. He asked to return in two weeks to check the traps to determine consumption (or not). This was going to give him a sense of magnitude on the number of mice/colonies and where they were traveling. Pretty interesting. Finally, he gave me advice on managing the mice myself (low cost option). He also gave me some personal experience on the various mouse traps I had purchased. All said and done, I was very satisfied with Advanced Pest Control

See above. One phone call to office and they came within a few days. They explained what they were going to do in detail. Sprayer was professional and encouraged me to call back if we found any "live" bugs. I didn't need to call back. We will call them again I am sure. Can't kill them forever.

I found them on Angie's list and also had a look at their website. It looked like they were reliable; they handled different kinds of pests and did a lot of things. They came out pretty soon and were able to exterminate them in just one trip. It went very well.

Amazing. Jesse (the gentleman who they sent) was extremely nice, professional and helpful (as was the person I spoke with at the office when I set up the appointment.) They told me in advance what the cost would be and they were spot on. Jesse came out and removed the nest from underneath the window (I have since built a blockade to keep birds out). Then he sprayed the room and the hallway carpet to keep them from spreading. He left us with glue traps to catch any remaining ones (as it takes up to a week for them all to die) and spent a good amount of time on the phone answering my panicky questions the following Monday when we still saw live mites in our room. By a week out, they were all gone, with no additional applications needed. I thought the charge for the nest removal (on the second floor) and mite abatement was very reasonable.

The technician walked through our large house and after a thorough inspection, he narrowed down where the mice were located and how they were coming in. He set some live traps and within two weeks the mice were gone. He offered to come back if we had any further problems. He also offered us advice to keep mice away from our home. He was great in this awful experience.
