+ 2 moreThe job went totally smoothly, except that Frank experienced some extreme illness in his family, which meant that the job had to be postponed a few days. As it turned out, this delay turned out well for me, since the refrigerator was delivered that day, and Frank could adjustit, as described above, to be integrated into the room. It looks gorgeous, almost built-in, but without Frank's adept carpentry work, the picture could have been quite different. I have had my share of "shoemakers" in the past. I realize that this was a very small job for Frank, nevertheless, he too exquisite pains with it. I hope to be able to do some other repairs in the spring, and will certainly use Frank. It must also be noted that Frank is extremely easy to deal with--no "personality problems," as is often the case--just clear, honest communication.
Description of Work: Please note that I previously submitted this same report under "One Stop Carpentry." Frank Ventura was under that listing, but has since decided to keep his long-time business under his own name. What Frank and his able helper did was to re-install a kitchen cabinet that was hung too low to accommodate my new refrigerator. Not only did they do this small job with incredible accuracy, but since the fridge was delivered that same day, they installed it with great precision. This included shaping an existing room- long shelf that would interfere with one of the doors of the refrigerator opening, but also adjusting the appliance so that it fit perfectly into the new space. Spacers (fillers) had to be constructed and painted to match the cabinets for a finished look. Also, since my porcelain tile floor was extremely uneven, this meant a very precise leveling job on a very crooked floor. I am a fussy (no extremely fussy) person, always looking for perfection, and this small job was done PERFECTLY!

+ 5 moreThe quality of the work was outstanding, a true Master Carpenter. Frank showed up on time and worked very late several times to help me meet my last minute deadlines. A very knowledgeable and pleasant person to deal with.
Description of Work: Frank has done numerous carpentry jobs for me including a deck with stairs and railings, sheetrock installation, shower enclosure install, countertop and cabinets.
