Arrived when he said he would. Very professional. Would recommend to anyone needing electrical work.

Called electrician at 6PM one night and since I still had power, they put me #1 on their list for the next day. Got there bright and early and fixed the problem. Additional problems with the wiring from the masthead to the street are the responsibility of the power company, so he made a call to CLP. Don't know if he has special pull, but CLP was at my house 30 minutes later!

The workmen were prompt, polite, informative, and efficient. They were very tidy, and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use this company again! Very satisfied.

The repairman showed up on time and did the work very well.

We had a do it yourself project go wrong. I tried to hook up a new light fixture where a ceiling fan had once resided and I wound up shorting out half of a circuit due to an incorrect splice. Called the office and supplemental cell phones on Wednesday night. Joseph responded the following morning 8am to set up an appointment for later that day between 10-12noon. He arrived on time 11am and fixed the problem in about 90 minutes. He also re-hung the light fixture from our project and double checked all the connections associated with the circuit were operational. Quick, efficient, and honest work! Price was $150 ($75 for the service call and $75 for the labor and minimal parts --taping off, wire nuts etc) which seemed fairly reasonable.

This contractor is a gem. He is thorough, always on time, the quality of his work is very high and he was honest in his pricing. I wish that all contractors are like Positively Electric.

Positively Electric was on time, professional in his approach and did not exceed his $ estimate. The work was quality work, and he aidied us in purchasing the generator we needed by giving us the place to purchase this, (catalog), and his estimate of what size and type generator we would need.

none of their competitors seem to understand their outlandish quotes. Joe, a nice guy who came out right after Hurricane Sandy, when every electrician in the state was busy. he walked through my building with me on two occasions to get a full idea of everything I wanted to do. I wasn't terribly confident that he completely understood, Many things had to be re-explained and described step-by-step, but I give him points for taking the time to try to get it. He didn't inspire much confidence that the job would be done to our needs, but we held off on cutting them from our list until we saw a quote. The quote was so far out of practical bounds that we called up to see where the mis-communication was. The operator seemed to believe the quote was accurate. The quote was over 4 times the cost than the most expensive competitor (and 6 times the cheapest) so we called Joe to verify the work that was being quoted was correct. During the phone call we went over the man-power and time estimate for part of the job. The estimates from the other companies were for 1-2 man teams who said the job could be completed in a little over a day. Joe's estimate was for 4 men to work 4 days to run 12 lengths of CAT 5 cable, distances of 30-200 feet. Joe seemed to genuinely believe this was what the job would entail. And though I can find no one agrees with him, I do not feel he was trying to pad the work estimate. He seemed like a decent fellow. But 4 guys to run 3 computer cables a day (at an average of 85' a run--with a maximum of 8 holes drilled in total)... that's just doesn't make sense.

Joseph was professional and punctual, as was his crew. Installation went well, though it took a bit longer than we expected. Joseph was able to finish an ad-hoc request (the outdoor electrical outlet) the same day which was very handy. Overall experience was very good. In a world where nobody calls you back, shows up, or acts like they want the job, it is refreshing to have someone show up on time and be professional.

Joe hung a chandelier and put in a dimmer switch. Did a great job. Good price, excellent service.

The experience was good. Joseph arrived during the stated time frame and completed the work exactly as we had discussed on the phone. When he was finished he showed me his work and also provided some general advice. My only minor complaint is that there was some dirt and debris left on the floor. Nothing that I couldn't easily clean myself. Overall, I was very pleased and I recommend them.

He is an excellent professional. He gave us a good price and was on time to do the work.

Arrived on time and with three members of the crew to get the work done quickly. Installed everything we needed to run key household powered items such as heat, water and refrigeration using solid quality equipment. Completed the job on time and offered to come back for a double check on system operation since the switch installation was done while the local power was out for my house. Followed up with a visit a few days later once local power grid was back online to help with some questions at no charge. Overall, a very nice job and we would use them again for future electrical work.

They arrived on time and had the electricity back up on the new service before 4pm. They took care of all the permits etc and even though they had to move the box and cut into the wall they left the work area cleaner than when they got there. you would not have know we had major work done. They thoroughly explained the job and gave detailed instructions on how to use the new generator set up. I will use them again when i rewire my kitchen during my kitchen remodel.

The 20 yr. old attic fan was not working. Initial contact with Joseph was prompt and courteous. Email and phone was used for contact. Estimate went out in a timely fashion. Arrived punctually to complete job. They were very professional and respectful in the house. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess.

I was very pleased with them. He was very helpful in giving advice about placement. He actually recommended that we put off the installation until we have got the furniture delivered. He was absolutely right. Everything he did was fine. They were very responsible. They came when they were supposed to and did a good job. I rate them high overall.

He came. He looked up. He saw all the bulbs were burned out, he replaced them.

Joseph came to the house within 20 minutes of me calling him. He very quickly figured out a good solution to what could have been a very expensive problem to fix. He gave me a price on the spot and told me he could come back the very next morning and fix the wiring in 2 hours. The next day he came back early in the morning at the time he said he would and repaired the wiring in the time frame he said. I was very happy with the service and will be calling him again in the future.

Gary was great! I got 3 quotes and he was the least expensive. More importantly, he did quality work. He was also flexible enough to work within my tight schedule. I just moved to town and I will use Positively Electric next time I need an Electrician.

They were nice and professional, but just not as good as another company. The overall experience was a mediocre one. They didn't call me back, and I had to call them multiple times. They were able to come out pretty quickly, but they couldn't turn around the appraisal. Finally, when I got the appraisal it was very vague. They said it would cost $8000 or more to do my work. I felt that was very vague.

I thought that they were very professional, organized, and offered a lot of good advice. I am still considering quotes and have not decided who I am going to choose, but I might go with them. Their pricing is a little on the high side, but it is worth it because their expertise is very good.

We had a very good experience working with Joe. He was able to come out promptly and give us an accurate estimate of the work/charges. Originally we were looking to do recessed lighting in the closet, but he provided us with another alternative that suited our needs and was less expensive. His work looks good and he removed all debris. I would recommend to others.
