Gino was very responsive and professional. Everything was thought out ahead of time and he worked with us to deal with any issues that came up during the demolition (which were few and far between). He handled all the permitting for the demolition, which saved us a lot of time and quite a few trips up to Fairfield. Care was taken to ensure none of the surrounding properties were damaged and the job was completed quickly. Would highly recommend.

Mattera Construction is a great company to work with. I initially contacted Gino for a foundation inspection on a home I was purchasing. This then lead to Gino and his team removing a broken concrete walkway, replacing it with pavers and adding drainage along the walkway and in front of the garage. In addition, Mattera Construction excavated my driveway for better drainage and re-graveled the driveway. I priced out 5 different contractors. Gino was not the most expensive nor the cheapest. He gave a fair estimate, provided excellent work and never charged for any minor surprises. Gino is very easy to deal with and advises what is actually needed for the job. His team is fantastic and were very respectful to my property.

We initially hired Oly Mattera Construction for the concrete foundation work for an addition to our residential home in Weston, CT. The interaction with Gino was professional and on point, with the right advising and feedback in place. The work got done on time, the quality was great and for a reasonable price. We have hired Gino and his team for several other jobs while renovating our home, from back yard excavation and retaining wall building to waterproofing and stone work and concrete front pathway. We have been very happy with Oly Mattera Construction and highly recommend them.

Both projects went flawless. Which I found amazing because both project sites posed there own challenges. Oly Mattera Construction simplified the entire demolition portion of these projects and made it look "easy" with the up-most care and professionalism. I would never entertain using anyone else except Oly Mattera for these types of services.

Gino's quality is very good, he is very careful - he can at times not be the best communicator, but you sort of get used to it. His prices are very fair but expect the job to take longer than you might expect. There are 3 things you have to consider when hiring a contractor, price, speed and quality. Unfortunately you can not have all 3! With Gino it is definitely price and quality! If you are not in a big hurry he is the contractor to hire.

Had no complaints. Crew was always able to answer all questions and easily accommodated any special requests I had.

Well, we are thrilled with the results.
