pet cremation
+ -1 moreI've been bringing my pets here for years for cremation. They're always kind and professional. Their prices are good - much less than what the vet charges. Turnaround time is fast. Last time I was here (fortunately 4 years ago), they didn't much of an assortment of containers for small pets, being more geared towards larger animals, but at those prices, I can easily buy something I want elsewhere. Highly recommend.

+ -1 moreThe yellow labrador retriever that brightened our lives for nearly 14 years had to be put to sleep. Before we took her to the vet, I called to find out what our options were after the euthanasia procedure. We wanted her cremated and learned that Trail's End was not far away. The people at the vet had very good things to say about Trail's End... and our veterinarian had used them for her own two dogs. Trail's End could have picked up our dog from the vet... but we opted to take her to them ourselves, since it was relatively close and we hoped to be able to get the ashes that day for a family service at home. The people at Trail's End were compassionate and respectful. They brought a measure of comfort to our pain and made it a little easier to handle. While it was too late to get the ashes that day, they called to let us know we could pick them up first thing the next morning. The lovely tin canister they put them in, the certificate card and poems they included meant a lot to us.
Description of Work: Trail's End handled the cremation of our yellow lab after she was put to sleep. They handled the body of our beloved family pet with dignity and respect... and treated us with compassion. It was too late to get her ashes that day, but we were able to pick them up the next morning. Her ashes were in a pretty tin container (sealed very tightly) - they gave us a certificate of cremation with her name on it, the date, and "beloved pet of..." with all of our names filled in. A special poem called "Caring" was part of the certificate. Another beautiful poem called "The Rainbow Bridge" was also inside the envelope.
