+ 0 moreWe sent a message to Jeff at Shoreline Electronics Repair at 344 East Main St in Clinton, CT and he responded quickly. We brought our TV into Jeff's shop. He offered a no-cost diagnosis of the problem. Within a day, he had analyzed the problem and gave us an estimate to repair the TV. The price seemed reasonable and we told him to go ahead. In just a few days, Jeff called to say that the TV was ready. We arrived at the shop and Jeff had the TV running. The repair had been done as quoted and Jeff even updated the set's grounding and the TV's firmware. In all his dealings with us, Jeff was honest and straight-forward. A real gentleman. And his price was very fair. We highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Electrical storm caused a power surge to damage the main board on our 42" TV. Even though our house is protected by a "whole house" surge protector, the excess current came through the HDMI cables which were not protected.
