Extremely professional & respectful of the property, very fast & punctual, explained what was going on so I was aware of what they were doing & the most REASONABLE quote for the work that needed to be accomplished. If you have septic work to be done in the Old Saybrook area, Duncan Downie is the ONLY way to go....you will NOT be disappointed!
Description of Work: We had pipes dug up & replaced at our cottage in Old Saybrook.

 + -1 moreExcellent - I'd highly recommend Duncan Downie's - They have been doing maintenance on our septic for the last several years. They quickly and efficiently replaced the septic tank, planned and communicated well the timing of the water outage at our house, and left the area cleaned up and reseeded. Overall they were fast, courteous, communicated well and were very good to work with. They area also very knowledgeable and gave us excellent advice on the options for repair and replacement.
Description of Work: Replace a 10 year old 1500 gallon septic tank that had a leak.

Description of Work: We had an overflow issue in our basement. Septic had apparently gotten clogged. I made the call & within 15 minutes they called back. In less than 45 minutes they were in my yard fixing the problem. Both of the young men were professional & polite. It was fixed & working properly in an hour! Will most certainly call them again when we need these services!!

 + -1 moreWe needed to have an emergency pump out of our secondary tank systems. We were unable to get our regular service company to respond. One call to Downies and they were on site in less than an hour. The company truck and equipment was clean. The driver was courteous and a pleasure to deal with.
