I met with the rep and went over what was needed. While the price was higher than I expected, it was not completely out of range. The work was done over the course of several weeks, using several of Baybrook's sub-contractors. Everything was done quickly and with minimal disruption to 'normal' life. The work doing the roof vent was messy, I'm sure, but they cleaned up the area very well afterwards. The only time I needed to be home was for the attic insulation. The crew worked very quickly and showed me the work after they were done to be sure I was satisfied. All in all, I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends who needed work done on their homes.

Everything was great. The company does background checks on all the people who work there. They all work for the company and are not individual contractors. Their billing has been wonderful. The communication has been open-minded by anybody at the company. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

They did great work. They are always on time and very professional. They did all the prep work. I would recommend them to everyone.

I will just give some of the pros and cons Ive experienced with this company. Pros: the company was on time, fair with negotiating a payment plan for unexpected work needed after the initial estimate was provided. The roof had to be completely replaced down to the wood... The company had suggested a new type of roof with a venting system. We agreed, but in the past four years since the roof was put up....My attic ceiling grew mold. When we called baybrook over to check out the problem.. They said that the attic needed insulation. I was upset that they didnt suggest this initially considering all the work they were already doing and they are the proffesionals doing the work .. They should have told me with the roof we should place insulation through the attic to prevent mold growth...etc...They also replaced my living room window with a bay window which grows mold around the inside trim constantly...and when it rains it forms water puddles and stains on the wood base of the window. In the winter the wind seeps through the windows actually moving the curtains when windows are shut and locked. These were not cheap windows they suggested!!! We called them back regarding these issues and all they did to help was suggest more work on my expense!! My back yard was full of thick, long nails and other debri... even now four years later my kids are still bringing me nails they pick up from the back yard. I understand its very hard to get every little thing that flies on the lawn up...Im not unreasonable .. but there was a bit more than there should have been.Also I have had an infestation of bees that entered through the siding on the house and ended up in my attic. with all of that being said...No I would not rehire them.

At the time, I was pleased with the impressive sales pitch, and then the way they cleaned up just about all the mess once they were done. Later, however, I learned that the Mastic windows installed were entry-level and provided 10-15% less insulation than models. The windows we got, for instance, have only one insulation slide in the edge, where better models have at least two and often three--thus ours let in much more cold draft. It felt like a shame after spending all that money, not to even maximize on our heating cost savings. Furthermore, we also learned that rather than just replace our windows with identical ones matching the old look, a better look would have been to pair up newer windows, in a better design, that would remove some of the excess wood framing, and maximize glazing or window surface visible. Of course, we probably would have had to pay more if we'd known--but we were not even told at the time about better options, unfortunately.

Their very last visit was today, and was a problem solving visit with some work that they had previously done. I think it will work out. I would recommend them and they are very professional, with great capabilities.

We had a terrible time with Baybrook. Their initial process is very professional: several planning discussions, lots of good-looking paperwork. Then they start work. Oh man. It's a big company and they have dozens and dozens of specialists working for them who are all deployed all over the place by cell phone; they show up, do some little thing, then leave, and the supervisor shows up and checks out what they have done and then it's days and days before the next guy shows up. And almost everything they did had to be re-done. They put the counter in wrong; it had to be redone. They bent our kitchen sink; it had to be replaced (we paid). They did the bathroom tile wrong; they broke our toilet re-installing it (they paid to replace). They hung the shower curtain too low. They put electrical switches in the wrong place. This simple job took SIX MONTHS start to finish. Six months later, the wallpaper in the bathroom is coming off. Finally, the president of the company was helpful.

THE COMPANY IS VERY GOOD. WE WERE LUCKY TO FIND A CONTRACTOR WITH A REASONABLE PRICE AND RELIABLE EMPLOYEES. THEY CLEANED UP WHEN THE JOB WAS FINISHED AND THEY DID NOT LEAVE ANY TOOLS BEHIND.
