Woodland Moving & Warehouse

After multiple confirmations, they screwed up my moving date and cost me a day and a half on a long distance multi-state move. I had to be the one to initiate communication every single time. They called me with the final charges which put me $1000 over my estimate, which they also botched. They charged me for the final balance before I had a chance to even review it or discuss it. The crew they sent was slow and I can't even comment on whether or not my things are damaged since this was moved to a storage unit. Poor follow up, lackadaisical attitude on their end for remedies or following up with corporate.

I have had the worst experience with this company. I have moved 4 times in the past decade and never had a company give this much trouble. They are totally unreachable, have given us false information on when our furniture will arrive, its been over 20 days since they picked up our stuff in CT for delivery to Florida and every time I speak them , they push the delivery date to one or two days and it is totally a lie. If anyone in the management is reading and cares about customers, I am a physician and after paying over $10,000 for my relocation, I deserve better service from your end. Please have someone call me at 716-541-7638 coz I am disgusted by this experience and will ensure I tell all my connections to never avail your services if this is how it continues, meanwhile myself and my family continue to sleep on mattresses coz of assurances from you company that the furniture will arrive any day now.

All went very smoothly. The were punctual, professional and courteous. Very friendly and helpful crew. We also hired them to pack our china, which they did expertly. Tony, the owner, was great to work with, and Carlos and the rest of the crew are true professionals. Final costs actually came in slightly less than their quote! We will be using them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I was really apprehensive about hiring a mover. With the exception of one friend, everyone had horrible experiences with movers. One friend suggested this company, and then I looked to see if they were reviewed on Angie's list. They looked good, so I made contact. Tony, the owner came to my mother's house to give us an estimate. He was a great guy and made us feel comfortable, so we decided to move forward with his company. Boy, were we happy we did! What an amazing experience we had. The movers arrived on time, were considerate of her home, were very nice, and took their time packaging/moving the items into the truck. They had a great system and were very efficient. When they arrived in MA the following day (packed one day/moved the next due to time constraints on the apartment), my mother was so impressed with the care they took of her valuables, and the consideration they showed for her new apartment. Everything, including her fragile items arrived in perfect shape! I would highly recommend this company -- they really care about their customers.

It went very well. This was the fourth move we have witnessed with Woodland. The first was moving a relative from New York to Bloomfield, which went extremely well - a reasonably large move. The next two were smaller moves within a retirement community, which also went extremely well. Our move-out to refinish the floors and then the return went well, and very quickly, too, on each end. At every move we have witnessed, the Woodland moving crew worked constantly and efficiently. They were careful and didn't rush, but it was amazing in each instance how quickly things were moved. Those guys do NOT stand around resting, but they are in constant motion. That said, they also are very careful. Furniture is well-wrapped in plastic-wrap (like Saran Wrap) and heavy duty moving blankets. These guys are NOT simply throwing things on the truck - far from it. Mirrors and artwork are protectively packaged. Those guys moved stuff interstate that I was positive could not be moved safely, but they did it - they know how.

Everyone at Woodland Moving and Warehouse was helpful, professional, courteous, hard-working, on-time, efficient. Leo, Craig, Carlos, and the rest of the team took all the stress and anxiety out of the three-day pack and load in CT. The truck arrived in CA a week later as scheduled. We highly recommend Woodland!
