I asked them to come the week after Thanksgiving, and even with the lousy weather this fall they kept their word. They work quickly and neatly and Sebastian and Chazz made a great team... one man blowing the leaves from the gutters and the other blowing them away from the house. Their price is very competitive with others too. I will continue to use this company and I encourage others to try them.

+ -1 morePlease note his company is a limited liability company formed in 2012 and it's license as a home improvement contractor lapsed on November 30, 2012. He has been operating without being in compliance with the laws of the Department of Consumer Protectiion in the state of Ct.. His timetables, emails, lack of contracts just do not add up to a legitimate business enterprise. I have been in business for 40 years and would never recommend this company.
Description of Work: Never proved they performed the services for which they billed me and brought to small claims court to collect. None of the leaves were removed from Gutters as alleged by him but contrary to my photos taken after he supposedly did the work.

+ 0 moreRob Polo cancelled the entire job, guess he does not need the business and guess repeat customers are not important to his company either. I was totally blindsided by his demeanor and lack of concern for keeping me wondering for over 2 hours if anyone was actually going to show up to do the job. Never returning phone calls when you call to see if there is something wrong.
Description of Work: I used this company in the past couple years for gutter cleaning; last week I received an estimate for gutter cleaning and my shed roof cleaning and scheduled the job for 7/6/15 was told contractors would arrive by 8:30 am. No show at 8:30 am so I waited till 9:00 am and called Rob Polo, no answer so I left a message, Rob Polo did not call me back so made second call to Rob Polo, no answer, left a message; no call back. I called a third time at 10:30 am Rob Polo was not phased by the fact that I was unsatisfied with his lack of professionalism and that he did not call me back or call me at all to let me know that the contractors would be later than scheduled and he did not care if he did my gutter cleaning and roof cleaning at all, as he was more interested in his feelings rather than be professional and prompt and was not concerned that I had planned my day around this job being started at 8:30 as scheduled and that he did not contact me to let me know about any delays. I had to call him 3 times before getting him on the phone, then at the last minute he starts making up excuses as to why no one showed up as scheduled at 8:30 am and never contacted me to let me know anything. Very poor way to do business and very poor customer service skills. I guess my repeat business with "Rob Polo does not matter to him. So consumer beware, this company does not care about the importance to you and the reasons you hire this company to do work for you. Consumers you don't work for Rob Polo , Rob Polo is supposed to be providing a service that you pay to have done; he works for you. The lack of not notifying a customer about being 2 hours late for a scheduled job; a very critical job , which also had time constraint ,which Rob Polo was fully aware of, which did not phase him in the least. Will never recommend or use this company ever again.

+ 0 moreI purchased a voucher for gutter cleaning from and quot;Rob Polo Gutter Cleaning and Power Washingand quot; sometime last winter. When I called to redeem it in the spring, he said it had expired and then quoted me a price two and a half times more than the voucher. I explained to him that it didn't make sense that the voucher expired in the winter since it's pretty challenging to clean gutters w/ snow on the ground. He said he would subtract the price of the voucher from his new quote of $170. Although I didn't think it was fair, I said that I would think about it. On April 26th, out of the blue, he texts me at nearly 1 AM and calls me a and quot;douch.and quot; (Yes, that's how he spelled it.) We had not been in touch recently and, based on the time received, I let it go. On May 7th, Rob called me to see if I was still interested in the gutter cleaning at the price quoted above the voucher value. I asked about the text and he said he didn't send it. Now, I'm pretty sure his cell phone recorded it just like mine, so I told him not to bother calling about his quote again. His response? No contrition, but instead I got “It’s your money and you called me for the quote.” Months past and I reached out to Rob again last week to have him clean my gutters. I had renewed my voucher and reached out to him to setup a time. He informed me that the vouchers are for new customers and that he was “unable to do any work for this customer or at this property.” This time, I didn’t bother trying to explain to him that I, in fact, had never been a customer. I was amazed that a service provider would actually – yet again deny service to a paying customer. Buyer beware. Did you notice the subtle name change from Rob Polo Gutter Cleaning and Power Washing to Rob's Home Services?
Description of Work: In lieu of actually providing the service contracted for, Mr. Polo insulted me via text message. When I confronted him about it, he lied about it.

His men showed up when scheduled, were very polite and professional. Did a great job with no mess no fuss. I was very satisfied and will use them again next year.
