+ -1 moreIf you like being jerked around by a contractor, played, lied to, ignored, and disrespected, call Russ Liljedahl and the Liljedahl Brothers for your next home restoration project. Russ Liljedahl jerked me around for 8 months. I pleaded with him to let me know if he would look at my project. He said he would, then weeks and months of radio silence would go by. He also ignored my email requests to see where he was with considering my project. When I finally got him on the phone after a 7 month wait, he said, "Oh, I thought your job went away." He then promised he would get back to me, and one month later, you guessed it, crickets. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. Like I said, if you enjoy being jerked around and made a fool of, Russ and his crew are for you. Good luck.

Since then other contractors working on our home have discovered the following: 1) Improper insulation that caused frozen pipes; 2) Improper flashing that failed in less than 10 years; 3) Half Eaten Breakfast and old McDonald's cup (Copyright 1996) in bathroom wall worked on by Liljedahl; 4) Dirty Shorts stuffed in an AC Vent to the Kitchen where Liljedahl installed the new floor and had said they and quot;disconnected and insulatedand quot; the old vent; 5) New wall built by Liljedahl was not to 1996 building code.

+ 0 moreThe experience was difficult as it truly took one and a half years. I don't think we could have done it without having liljedahl Brothers as our contractor.
Description of Work: We purchased a home in September 2009 that needed extensive remodeling throughout. We didn't move into the home until 4/2011. We feel so lucky to have found Liljedahl Brothers to oversee our project. Our hands-on contact for the project was Drew Liljedahl. We couldn't be more pleased w/ his support and professionalism. It certainly took away a lot of the fear of remodeling a "money pit". Our home is now beautiful and I know that Drew will continue to help us in maintaining our home in any way that he can. These contractors completely finished 2 entire floors in our home and oversaw the renovation of the other 2 floors. They were hands-on in recommending great subcontractors or worked smoothly and supervised the subs that we brought in. We remodeled a kitchen from the "studs" out and several bathrooms. We gutted and rebuilt a home theater. Drew and his guys gladly did the smallest of projects in a timely and efficient manner.

+ -1 moreLILJEDAHL BROTHERS DID A MARVELOUS JOB ON THIS. IT WAS TOTALLY RELAXING HAVING THEM AROUND, BECAUSE I KNEW THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED.
Description of Work: THEY BUILT US AN OUTDOOR PORCH WITH STAIRS.
