Pro Painters

We hired Jacob and his team at Pro Painters of Watertown, CT., to power wash, stain our deck and to replace rotted deck boards and split rails as a part of the scope of service agreement. I provided Pro Painters an initial deposit. Jacob and his team in our opinion only completed a portion of the work given that we would not provide additional funding beyond the agreement. Jacob asked for significant more funding beyond what was outlined in the services agreement even though he estimated the job scope prior to starting. The work Jacob and his team completed lacks the quality and workmanship that one would expect from an Angi Award Wining Contractor. In our opinion, we were left with significant amount of clean-up of our swimming pool in which the previous deck stain peelings clouded the pool water with debris and the pool cover, and debris in our fencing. In addition, removed deck boards were left on the job site and not removed from our property. We are very disappointed with Jacob and Pro Painters of Watertown, and Angi. Jacob and his crew are true masters at their craft. Very responsive, fair priced, and accommodated our needs and schedules. He and his crew were always on time, and the work was performed quickly and thoroughly with care. When the work was done, the cleanup was quick and the house was left spotless. We couldn’t be happier!

Jacob & his partner did an excellent job with my place . I am more than satisfied with the outcome . He did everything I asked & gave me more knowledge and understanding behind the job . Communication was great & the job was done in a great amount of time . Pro painters blew my expectations & I will be hiring them again for future projects!

I cannot praise and thank Jacob and his partner enough! They are called Propainters because they are really PROs in what they do. Basically I had 4 skylights removed during a roof replacement. Propainters was recommended by my Roofer to close up the area where the old skylights were. They closed up the area from the skylights, scraped the popcorn and painted the ceiling.They did such a good job that you wouldn't even know there were ever skylights there. They also fixed and painted a drywall from a plumbing repair and painted some walls in the main living area. All the work they did were excellent! Jacob and his partner were always on time at 8am and finished the work in 4 days as promised. They used plastic drop cloth and cleaned up as much as they could to minimize the dust around the house. Jacob knew I am putting the house in the market so he gave some suggestions on which areas need to be retouched. I am glad I listened and now the house looks more clean and fresh. Aside from being excellent at what they do, Jacob and his partner are also very nice, trustworthy and just good people. I don't usually let anyone be alone in the house when some work needs to be done. But with Jacob and his partner, I leave the house to drop off and pick up my kids and do some small errands. I recommend Propainters 1000% if you ever need any painting work done. You won't regret it.

Jacob and his team have been amazing! They painted the entire outside and inside of our house and we couldn't have asked for more! They did a great job at a great price and have been extremely timely and responsive. Jacob even contacted us on Sunday mornings to address any questions we had. My family and my wife's family are now using them as well and we wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone we know. Thank you Jacob and your team for the great job!

Jacob and his team are so reliable, professional, work quickly, take their craft seriously and take pride in their work product (so it’s very high quality), and provided excellent value. When they were done I asked Jacob how much other home improvement work he does because now I want to hire him for everything! Honest, hard-working and skilled professionals — who don’t charge a fortune (aka rip you off!!) — are very hard to come by. Grateful that we connected with and hired Jacob and recommend ProPainters without reservation.

Jacob and crew were excellent. This is the second bigger project they've done for us. They were precise, prompt and polite throughout the process. Additionally, they are very neat. Everything looks perfect. Jacob will be staining our front porch, pillars, and door when the weather warms. We're planning to have Pro Painters handle another big project next year. If you have an upcoming painting project, I highly recommend using Pro Painters.

Great room painting & install wood ceiling

He did an excellent job. He was very conscientious. He did what he said he would do. He was humble. He was easy to get along with.

The two man team arrived on time, were very organized and pleasant. The job was completed before lunch. Took the boss to my next door neighbor who plans to hire them to paint their entire interior.

We could not be happier with the way our house was transformed. Jacob and his team are fantastic and cant say enough about what a great job they all did. The owner of the business and his crew showed up and got started immediately. They were all very professional and clean. They did an amazing job compounding, taping and sanding the walls in the bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen. Afterwards they painted all the trim, baseboards and walls in every room. Everything looks so clean and beautiful. I highly recommend Pro Painters for your next project. We will definitely use them again in the future.

It went very well, Jacob & his workers did a great job. He did everything we asked of him and more. He actually took stuff home to paint because there wasn’t enough room and a few didn’t come out good . Jacob was great to work with, polite, they cleaned up everything. I can't say enough about the job that Jacob and his team did on my interior house painting project. Initially, I scheduled five estimates. (3) through Angie's list and (2) through HA, and I ended up receiving six quotes. Pro Painters may not have been the lowest but was within the ballpark and, more importantly, took the time to point out areas that needed repair, made suggestions, and, more importantly, listened to my needs. Jacob and his team were punctual, painted the rooms, ceilings, and made the repairs as promised. The price quoted was the price paid upon completion Jacob was the only contractor to follow-up on his quote. I ended up selecting Pro-Painter over another contractor that was highly recommended by an excellent friend. I was concerned, but those concerns and my gut feeling dissipated after day one. My original quote was for three bedrooms and a hallway. Pro-Painter painted the entire interior of my house within the promised time, cleaned up every day, and made sure to show me the finished work each day. Pro Painters exceeded expectations. I will be hiring then again to complete the exterior of the house. Thank you Jacob for your professionalism, attention to detail and exceeding our expectations.

Excellent work- we had the entire exterior of our house painted as well as some carpentry work done and were very happy with the results. When we had changes to original work plan, they were very accomodating, arriving early and working late. The price was very fair given the quality of the work. Outstanding and quality workmanship. This was a major project, our house is 2800 sf and popcorn ceilings were throughout the entire house. Bardul is an artist, I am a perfectionist and I couldn’t find any flaws, this has transformed the appearance of our home we are so happy. Jacob and his team were respectful, and meticulous. Pro Painters have done several projects for us but this by far was the biggest. As far as we are concerned Jacob and his team are our contractor of choice. Their work is exceptional, they are reliable and trustworthy. We would highly recommend them!!

ProPainters did an awesome job for us. They did a ton of work - not just painting - and it was all top notch. They are really hardworking, super nice guys. I especially appreciated their communication and responsiveness. I have never used a contractor that I chose to rehire. I would rehire these guys without reservation. I give them my highest recommendation.

Awesome. Jacob and crew are clean, respectful. The work they did was super. I didn’t have to worry. I have call pro painters to come back after a new roof was put on to repaint my eeves. They came like in 2-3 days. Jacob was kind enough to help me with the pricing. I will def hire again.

Jacob and his team has done work for me twice. They are extremely responsive, respectful and clean. They showed up on time, and took extra care to make sure things were to my liking. I would definitely hire them again for any of my painting needs!

Zijad did an extremely good job painting the exterior of our home and replacing a few clapboards.

Pro Painters did an excellent job correcting a previous re-stain job gone wrong. First, Pro Painters responded to my query promptly and scheduled a no-cost estimate immediately. Second, Benard showed up on time and gave me an insightful analysis of the problems with the prior job and how to correct it. The written estimate came promptly after, via email. Third, he returned when promised to review the job specs with me and his crew captain. Fourth--and most important: I was out of town when the crew performed the job, but Benard kept me posted and agreed to accept payment (a) once I returned to town and (b) if I was pleased with the job. Talk about trust! I'm so pleased with the new stain--I can tell at a glance and touch that it's been applied properly, unlike the previous job. Second: Benard and his team had to replace several worn and rotting planks (because the prior job peeled prematurely and left the wood exposed for months to 2018-19's punishing snow and rain), and the deck is now sturdier, as it should've been. Throughout the process, Pro Painters communicated with me clearly, directly, promptly. They execute their work with precision and care. I paid a lot ($1700) for this job to be done 2 years ago; I collected 2 other bids for the re-do that came in significantly less than Pro Painters. But their professionalism and, now, I see, execution makes me confident that the extra money was well worth it. I recommend Pro Painters highly.

This is the first time I've had such a large project done in our home. I received three quotes and decided on Pro Painter's. They showed up every day on time and finished in one week. They accommodated having a teenager, dog and other family members coming and going. They were clean, neat and professional, I would highly recommend, I love my new freshly painted home!
