Pro Painters

Jacob had done work before at our house and it was fine so we hired him to paint the garage. He showed up and the work was performed. We did not drive on the floor for a week. When we drove on it, it peeled. He came back to do the job over (but did not agree to move our items into a rental truck as we stored items there the first time- luckily no rain). He stayed an hour to only scrap a couple of small areas and repainted the floor. It peeled again. Forget the time and energy to move items twice but he took no responsibility telling us we needed to acid wash the floor prior to paint. This was never mentioned until after the job was completed twice. I would not use this painter again and I would strongly be careful of working with someone who took $1,500 to paint an epoxy floor that blames the customer for not preparing the floor until after the job is done. Extremely unprofessional.

We were very happy with the Pro Painters team. The quote was fair and reasonable. We felt that we were being treated with honesty and integrity, and not being sold to. The evaluation of the work was thorough and the work was completed in a timely fashion. When asked to make changes and improve on certain pieces of work when we went through everything near the end of the project, they were completely accommodating. The workers were all polite, friendly, and helpful.

I hired Pro Painters to repaint kitchen and upstairs hallway. Pretty happy. They did a great job taking down the banister in the hallway to paint the walls. And they put it back up with ease. They were able to pull out the oven in order to paint behind it. Pretty happy.

It went very well , we agreed on a price which was very reasonable, the project took 3 Days (a 4th day was used for touch ups and cleanup). They showed up everyday at 8am and when they left in the afternoon they cleaned up very nicely, to come back in the morning. They were very nice guys that we got to know in the 4 days they were here. Very polite, very knowledgeable and when they were finished they made sure everything was up to par went over everything with us to make sure it was up to our standard , which it was. I recommend them to anyone looking for a painter.

Because of excessive rain in CT and our own schedule, we were late in the season addressing this serious need. Pro Painters already had jobs booked during the week, so Jacob and his co-worker arrived early on a weekend day, the only one not scheduled for rain, and completed the job exactly as planned. Our front porch and doors look great and are ready for the holidays.

Jacob responded very quickly to my request of taking a look at my water damaged hallway ceiling. He advised that a new ceiling be installed. He picked a date for the installation and a date for the painting and he and his team arrived promptly on both days and did an outstanding job. In addition, they were clean and neat. He and his team were the most professional and proficient painters I have ever worked with. I will definitely call Pro Painters again.

Jacob was great! The work was beautifully done and the price was fair enough. Great care was taken to preserve the beauty of an 1855 home. I would definitely recommend him!!

Pro Painters did an excellent job on a not so easy ceiling. They primed and painted the ceiling white, plus they kept the paint off the dark wood beams, fireplace, wood panel walls and floors. The ceiling is also paneled which required a lot of brush work. Everyone on the team was very professional - showed up at the exact time they said they would every day, were very pleasant and the job was done right.

I cant review this company on their work as they didn't do any but...I had made arraignments for Jacob to come over to give an estimate. He did not arrive at the scheduled time so after half an hour of him not showing up I called him. He said he texted my husband but did not get a response so he didn't come. I explained his texting was not working but in my opinion he should have at least tried to call since he had both our numbers, but he didn't....I take partial blame for the fact that the texting was not working... so we made new arraignments for him to come over on a Saturday. He said he had a morning appointment and would let us know when he would come over. We did not hear from him so we called him and he did not answer, we left a message and he never got back to us. If he didn't want to bother with us why keep us hanging? We wasted several days where I could have contacted other companies.

Jacob and his crew were excellent. The job required flexibility because of frequent storms but also expediency because the house was being prepared for sale. Jacob communicated throughout and fit the job in between weather events. His top lieutenant even came on a Sunday because of weather. Highly recommend this group of hard workers.

Bottom Line: look no further for your painter. It’s that simple. Jacob and his team are true professionals. From the initial phone call to the final payment, everything went smoothly and was said and done in 2.5 days. He was able to work us into his schedule thanks to some rainy weather and a testament to his scheduling. His team was ready to work exactly when he said and they over delivered on quality. I had some heavy patching that needed to be done and they were very methodical and clean. Jacobs quote came in just a little less than a family friends but his timeline was way more accommodating. He reviews spoke the truth. We couldn’t be happier with the end result. He offered to power wash the house for a small up charge and it’s like a brand new place. His team cleaned as they went. They were courteous and accommodating to timing and where they were in the house. The name of the company says it all.
