George showed up promptly in response to my call about a leak in my dining room. He got on a ladder and said my siding was done improperly and gave me some options regarding a repair and recommended I replace the siding since there was no flashing installed under the siding. Knowing that I needed to replace the siding anyway I had him quote me which he did with various options. After agreeing to his estimate his brother came over and fixed the leak to get me though until the siding could be done. Before they were able to start we had another storm and I got another leak which they came and fixed the next day. The crew who did the siding were very professional, they came in did the work and never left a mess. The roofing job on this house is poorly done (on my list to replace this fall) and spent time fixing some of the problems as they went allowing me to get by till fall. I did not ask them to do the extra fixes, they just did them and told me later. They had quite an extensive job as the previous siding company did a lousy job.... no flashing on any of the windows.... really. They also redid the gutters installing leaf guards. The previous gutters were in sad shape and were not pitched correctly and I had water in my basement because the gutters were directing water down next to the foundation. Since the new gutters have been installed, no issues in the basement, no leaks in the house. Great job!!!! Yost is more expensive than the other companies that quoted me but the quality and professionalism is outstanding. The house looks great and I would certainly hire them again. After the siding was complete I asked to have them replace a back door that was rotting off it's hinges. Again, they ordered the door and installed it quickly and with no mess. Great job!!!

In the past we were burned by a home improvement contractor who took our money, declared backruptcy, and left us high and dry. Having been burned so recently, my wife and I are very picky about who we call for estimates and ultimately hire to do work for us. When we decided to have replacement windows installed and siding put on our house, we were very careful throughout the entire process. We invited Yost Home Improvements to apply for the Job. From the minute George Yost walked through the door, we knew that a high quality home improvement contractor had arrived. He presented a variety of options for both the windows and the siding. He helped us through the whole process making sure that we understood every aspect of the project. Once we made the decision to have Yost Home Improvements do the work, he presented a professional detailed and typed contract. Even with the New England winter weather, Yost showed up and started the work when promised and stayed until the job was done. We even had a major snow storm and Al and George came and snowblowed the driveway and areas around the house so they could work as soon as the storm was over. My son was really happy and I was very impressed. Each day they did a great job of cleaning up the site, putting away their equipment, and Al and his crew made sure that we were happy with the product they were providing. We could not be more pleased; the place looks absolutly beautiful. I would highy recommend Yost Home Improvements to anyone who was considering replacing windows or putting siding up. The representative was very knowledgeable and helpful; very open to helping us keep costs low. In the end we did not replace the window because it was too costly (we got estimates from Home Depot as well). Of the two, the Yost representative and product seemed superior and we would definitely entrust the work to them in the future.

Yost was rated A+ by BBB.org, so I called them for a quote. The quote seemed very reasonable. Then I went to their showroom to look at samples of the product that they would be installing, and it was a thicker grade of aluminum than was available at Home Depot & Lowes. Very durable. So I told them to go ahead with the job. They told me they had quite a few jobs in the queue in front of me, and that it would be about two weeks before they could do the work. It was actually almost three weeks, but when my job got to the top of the queue, they arrived in the morning, and withing 3 hours the job was finished. It was professionally and quickly done. I would hire them again.

They did it in three different sections. Each time the price was good, the timing was good, service was good, and cleanup was good. They did the work good. They did it good the first time and that’s why I went for second and third. I would use them in the future.

They were prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional. The window has only been in for two weeks, but it looks fine for now.

The crew was quiet and efficient.

Someone from Yost came to give me a price and to measure the windows. The installation happened exactly how and when Yost said it would. There was no debris left around the house. Yost was a clear stand-out.

It was a relatively big job taking 2 days with some tricky windows. They did a good job. While they missed a couple things while finishing up after dark, they came back quickly and resolved the issues

They were very good and very professional. They were very upfront with the cost and the time that it would take to finish the work.

They were recommended to us by a friend. They just did the job in one day, but it was a lot of money. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would definitely use them in the future.
