I proudly endorse Burr Plumbing and Heating. They are a small family owned and operated business - who's owner replaced my hot water heater. He came the day I called him to check out the job and I had a new water heater the next day! They are a reliable, dependable and honest company. I would recommend them to anyone.

What more can you want of a professional? He and his company are my go-to guys for any plumbing problem.

Since my father always did the repairs in the house when I was growing up, it hurts to pay $110 / hour to a plumber to replace a faucet, but I would never tackle it, and it's great to know that Burr will do the job promptly and right.

I've known the Burrs since childhood and for more than 40 years have always called on them for our plumbing work at home and at our rental property. They are always very responsive to my calls, and while always busy, they do contact me by cell phone and they do fit us in when there is an emergency. They sent a crew to inspect a leaking heat/steam return pipe at our rental property. They ordered a part and returned the next day to do the repair. All is well now. They really understand this 20-year old steam heating system and have made numerous adjustments to it for us over the past 7 years. I do wonder if they are more expensive than other plumbers. They don't do anything, even if it takes five minutes, for less than $110 because of the service charge!

Wanting to remodel two bathrooms, we thought we could do it ourselves with a plumbing contractor and a good carpenter. Mr. Burr recommended his friend who was supposed to be an excellent finish carpenter and tile person. After a year of trying to get estimates and start dates, we gave up and went to a design firm that did everything. There are two Burr brothers - can't remember their names - but they alternate on-call times. We would call for the one we were supposed to be working with, but we'd get his brother who never delivered the message or if he did, we didn't get a response.

I was very happy with the quality of work on this job. The only thing I didn't care for was that I thought they were a little expensive, but they did a very nice job. I would probably call them again if I needed to. I would just let people know that you get what you pay for. With these guys, it's a beautiful job done.
