Slow frustrating start but good finish. Estimate initially never handed in and office mistakenly stated Angie's List downpayment never received. But contractor was punctual, professional, and did quality work.

The whole process from Jay coming to our home with the quote, to the guys showing up to do the roof went extremely smooth. Within days we had a new roof. The crew was very nice, they did our roof in about 7 hours from setup to cleanup. They cleaned up really well and were very polite. The office staff was exceptional, answering all of our questions. Price was excellent and we are very happy with our new roof, it looks great! Coming from a very picky person such as myself, I highly recommend this company.

It could not have gone better. I would definitely hire them again. It was an excellent experience.

It took awhile for them to get back to me but after that it went well.

Excellent they did the siding repair one day. Dropped the materials off the same day for the roof. Returned early the next day. By the time I arrived home from work my roof was completed and the workers gone. The only sign was the full dumpster in the driveway with the roofing debris.which they picked up early the next day.

They were there promptly to give an estimate and the roof was replaced in one day and all clean up was done and removed the same day. Gutters were don the following week as soon as it stopped raining. Very Professional.

The team was professional and punctual. It took about 8 hours and they cleaned up the yard/debris afterward. The dumpster was also picked up in a timely manner within a couple of days. Overall, I was pleased with the results and the manner in which they worked.

Went Great! The team was very quick and professional from the tear down through the clean up. The team even made arrangements to do it all in one day because of bad weather.

Dan worked with me and on the day we agreed upon 5 guys showed up early in the morning. Even if Dan had told me it could take 2 days to replace my roof, those guys worked all day long and were able to do all work in one day; excellent crew, hard working and good at what they're doing. Not only they did a very good job but they cleaned afterwards as best as expected especially since, because of my dogs, I was worried about nails. I would recommend Villwell Builders to everyone, for both quality of work and price. I waited to leave this review until we got the first big rain and so far, no leaks, no issues. Dan offered not only a lifetime material warranty (backed by GAF) but also a 10 year labor warranty. Only 2 other companies that gave me estimates offered same kind of labor warranty.

I spoke and met with Dan regarding how to address the leak issues. Dan helped me understand the issues he saw with respect to the roof and worked with me to develop a solution. We agreed to replace 3/4 of the roof and fix the trouble areas. Throughout the process, Dan was patient with my questions and helped educate me of the roof and its issues. His team arrived promptly and worked continuously to complete the job. During the roofing process, Jay was engaged in monitoring the project and he also answered my questions as we watched the team work on the roof. After the roof was completed the team meticulously cleaned up the work area and they also were responsive to my questions and any concerns I expressed. Villwell did a good job repairing my roof. The technicians assigned to the job were competent and friendly. Villwell would be welcome by me to bid of future work.

They didn’t do much. We expected them to do more. His attitude seems like he was not willing to do anything. We thought he would do something more but it wasn’t anything. It was a very brief visit. He didn’t stay long. He just went on top and just looked around the roof and told us a couple of things that we needed to fix. I think we had an issue we have like a small hole in the roof that we actually were hoping that he would patch up but he told us that he didn’t have the tools right now to do it and he wouldn’t be able to do it and he just left. We wanted to do something specific but he didn’t do it. He was pretty punctual. He came on time. We were disappointed.

Initial Contact and Estimate - The estimator, Ralph was very prompt and arrived at the scheduled time and was very easy to work with. All questions about the job were explained very well and a quote was provided in a timely manor. The estimate was substantially lower than the other two quotes I obtained for the same work to be performed, so I went with Villewell. The job was started ~ 3 weeks later and everything was completed at the price as quoted. The crew was very efficient, did high quality work and cleaned up very well with no trace of debris. Questions and concerns during the installation were addressed in a timely manor. What could have been better? Communication concerning scheduling and during installation could have been better. In Villwell's defense, the office person who usually takes care of these details was on vacation. Consequently, I had 1 day notice when the job was going to start. Materials from the supplier were not delivered to the site on time, so the job was pushed back a day. To compensate, a large crew came early the next day and was able to complete the job in that day. This ended up delaying the gutter installation by 2 days. However, overall, the job was completed as quoted and the workmanship and materials were high quality. I am completely satisfied with the roof and gutters. I would recommend Villwell Builders.

The men were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They gave me an estimate on gutter cleaning and chimney repair which seemed a little high, but I was willing to go for it. Then I asked if he could also replace a gable-end louver. It's a standard size, 18x24. In my younger years I replaced one myself?took about an hour. Villwell was willing to do this for upwards of $3000. Now I understand it's ladder work?maybe twenty feet up?but the price still seemed high. (It did include painting.) I never had the louver replaced and decided against the other work too. I don't doubt that they're very good and that the work itself would have been first-class, but $3000+ to replace a part that costs about twenty-five bucks made no sense to me...even with paint.

It went very well. They were here on time, the job was done right. They were very responsive to some minor details we needed corrected. Jay and Andrea very friendly.

The appointment went well. The repair guy arrived on time asked a few questions and went on the roof. He took some pictures of some spots that needed repairing and showed them to me. He also noted he applied some roof sealant to help prevent any future leaks. He was there for less than 30 minutes.

I was not home for the inspection of our roof, but my wife was. She was very satisfied. The gentleman who came out was on time, respectful, and seemed well informed. He look at our roof and said that it was one of the better roofs that he has seen after the tough winter. He said there was little work that needed to be done. He recommended that our sky lights be replaced soon and gave us a quote. My wife said that she did not feel pressured at all to have the sky lights replaced. He left the quote with and told her to call if we were interested.

He did fine. He informed me about the maintenance that my roof needed.

The workers arrived within minutes of the time I was told they would. They were very courteous and professional. They tarped all my flower beds to decrease any risk of damage. Throughout the day, I asked them if they needed anything, such as a drink, and was always politely told that they were all set.When they were completed, they performed a phenomenal clean up. Not one piece of shingle or any nails were left behind. Also when completed, they knocked upon my door and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. I did go out and look but could not find one thing to complain about. They thanked me when it should have been the other way around! I have already referred them to a family member and a couple of friends. I would use them again. The office staff was also very courteous and helpful.

Very satisified from start to finish. The sales rep that came out initially was very informitive offered many options and pricing to make an informed decision. Company provided a very detailed estimate. The installation team arrived at the date and time scheduled where friendly and curtiuos.Work was performed in a work like manner. At the completion of the job the site was cleaned up so well that you would not know work was done. I would reccommend Villwell Builders if your considering home improvements.

In order to do the work, our tenants had to be relocated (At our expense). We were told the work would take about a week. After two days, three of the tenants were allowed back in their units. The other unit involved more work, but it was still completed within the 1 week we were told. Pleasantly surprised and it saved us from paying for 3 more nights lodging for three tenants. All of the work in the scope was completed and we now have a lead free home for our tenants. Very Satisfied, Glenn Petelle
