BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH SUPERIOR "MONEY MAKES THE BLIND MAN SEE." My name is Louis Nichole. I am a 71 year old senior citizen. I filed a lawsuit against Superior Fuel ( Riggi's.).... in Connecticut Superior Court under Docket Number UWY-CV15-6028443-S in ...still in litigation going on 8 years.... as I live in a garage apartment. The incompetence of the Wolcott General Contractor and his subcontractors who built the entire house against CT Building Codes...........left the residence TOTALLY UNINHABITABLE to this very day. In business since 1947....(over 70 years ) Superior claimed they had "no money" to pay me ....AFTER...... they were "paid in full for incompetent work they had performed at my home. In an out of court settlement, I allowed Superior to sign a contract for partial reimbursement..... written by their attorney at Franklin Pilicy Law firm. Both the attorney and Superior refused to honor the terms of their own agreement. I then filed ANOTHER LITIGATION against Superior..... for non payment of their contract.... in Waterbury Small Claims Court UWY-CV-22- 5029642-B A judgement was made on 4/ 13/2022 in Waterbury Superior Court against Riggi and Superior .....for BREACH OF CONTRACT and awarded me the full amount to be reimbursed. One week later, their attorney filed a motion to modify order of payments for a "$35 per week as terms of the payment settlement...... making it over 2 years before I would receive total reimbursement. Their website states: "Your Satisfaction is 100% guaranteed" Their website is perfect indication of their" integrity." The top of their homepage states" Submit a customer review to a trusted organization." It brings you to the " CT Better Business Bureau"... where SUPERIOR is "not accredited...... "AND.... there are "ZERO CUSTOMER REVIEWS"....that is until I supplied this review.I also supplied a review to Angi's List ....as well as a host of others. SYNOPSIS Superior improperly sized the 6,000 sq ft residence that was totally destroyed by fire. They were released from the project for improper HVAC specifications and installations. I paid them in full at the time.... not knowing they were unqualified to properly handle a 16,000 sq ft residence with 25 ft ceilings....or that they had no experience in installing PROPANE RADIANT HEAT. (They are an OIL DISTRIBUTOR) They did not offer to remediate any of the improperly installed systems in progress. An independent HVAC Engineer was hired to redo the entire mechanical specifications.I had to donate mostly all the unusable specified materials by Superior...... to a CT senior center in need.... and to the Habitat for Humanity. I released Superior from the litigation, with a signed contract. PAYMENT WAS GUARANTEED by "SUPERIOR the company.... and PERSONALLY by the son/owner.... Riggi. The family as well as John ....refused to uphold the terms of the SERVICES contact they signed in the payments that were due me. Contacts are legally binding documents. Their attorney who wrote the contract, also refused to uphold the contract that he wrote for his client....refusing to pay me. The greatest injustice in this ....is a lawyer who has taken the CT Oath under God.... and is above the law....and above GOD. It speaks volumes of Superior and their attorney. The "Superior family could not be 'NICER PEOPLE"...on the outside that is.They are interested in one thing.... getting your business and your money in a highly competitive business field. Beware.... MONEY MAKES THE BLIND MAN SEE. Superior has also " deceived" their own oil/ fuel customers. Superior sold off their oil business to Roberts Energy over 3 years ago:.a major fuel conglomerate/ distributor out of Springfield Ma. They delivered to Superior customers....using Superior Tank Trucks. That business relationship ended and Hitchcock Fuel is now distributing oil.... still seeing Superior tank trucks delivering to "Superior Fuel customers". Once you review the Superior Website.....the above should sum up the business practices of Superior. BEWARE of Vendors....... who remove their names from all property records to avoid any accountability or liability issues with customers. Prospect Town Records show that Riggi's home..... was quit deeded to a family member..... in order to avoid responsibility/liability to any business lawsuits. I always allow people to do their own diligence and make their own decisions about TRUTH.... and those who manipulate the the TRUTH for the benefit of "Our Lady of Perpetual Paycheck."
