Louie and the team at M&J Roofing did a terrific job for us! The timing was tricky, because we had a chimney removed by another contractor, so they had to be ready on the spot when that work was done, so that we didn't leave a big hole in our roof! They coordinated seamlessly with the other company and efficiently closed in the roof which required carpentry on the inside also. They matched the old shingle very well, so the repair doesn't stand out. We asked for a ridge vent to be added and they did that as well. They were easy to communicate with and fair in their price. I chose this company because of their "A" rating on Angie's List, and it is well deserved.

Can't recommend M&J enough. They replaced my roof , added gutters and repaired my chimney . Louie and his people were prompt, polite, faithful to their proposal - I don't have a single negative to pass on as the entire experience was as positive as it could be. I have had a lot of work done on my house recently - which unfortunately included many disappointments with contractors- and this is the first time I felt I got what I paid for and would unquestionably call Louie back if I needed more more work. Fantastic Job! Louie was always responsive to any questions that we had during the process. He kept us updated on any delays due to material. Truly professional and the finished product is incredible. Louie made 100% sure we had been committed to our choice of shingle. I rarely write reviews, but I feel an obligation to write this one because Louie and the M&J team were absolutely terrific. In a world full of so many crooked, manipulative, apathetic, and incompetent contractors, Louie stands out as someone who actually cares, who actually does truly excellent work, who actually does what is in YOUR best interest in the short and long term. This was the first time I had ever paid to have a roof replaced on a house, so I was nervous and I’m certain I was not the easiest customer to deal with. Throughout the entire process Louie was endlessly patient with me and took time to address and resolve every single one of my fears and concerns. He not only went the extra mile, but went above and beyond THAT. Louie and his team completed my job quickly, they left my house and yard very clean, and my general contractor (who has 35 years of experience not only remodeling homes but also building them) confirmed that Louie and his team “did excellent work and were very conscientious.” If you need any kind of roofing work done, and you want a real expert, quality work at a very reasonable price, and the peace of mind knowing it was done right, call Louie and M&J Roofing. The crew worked efficiently and quickly finishing the job in two days. Of all the construction crews I've hired over the years, this crew did the best job of cleaning up after they were done.

We hired Louie (M&J) to fix a leak in our roof. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the job was perfect. He came back months after the initial repair to take care of a remaining leak that was very hard to track down. A+++

Louie and his crew did an exceptional job with the installation of our new roof & gutters. They were prompt, detail oriented, conscientious, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to family and friends. Their cleanup was impeccable and the crew took pride in the work they did. I was frustrated with roofing contractors showing up and never providing a solution to the problem then Louie showed up. I knew I was going to get the problem resolved after only a few minutes of him being there. Not only did he explain the problem fully, he also provided pictures pointing out where the source of the problem started. He and his crew were very professional, courteous, and neat. After cleaning up you would never know they were there. The price was reasonable, the craftsman ship was excellent , and most of all the problem was fixed. the man kept his word and in today's world that goes a long way.

We hired Louie and his crew, to replace our old, leaky roof. M&J Roofing had the whole thing done less than 2 weeks later! 2 days labor. Even got new gutters and chimney. It looks great, and working with M&J, felt like they were family ... honest, conscientious, detailed follow up. And a very reasonable price for the craftsmanship delivered!!!

A++++ Great job. We needed new roof on our bungalow, to include installing plywood over 90+ year old 'furring strip' construction. Also needed roof on garage/porch, including some wood siding repair to same structure. From the estimate, scheduling, communication, and actual roofing and repairs, M&J's Louie and his crew were outstanding. All calls/texts were answered almost instantly (Including one or two calls after job was completed and paid for). Crew showed up exactly when we were told they would, and completed as scheduled. We were extremely happy with final product. Highly recommend M&J.

The time had come to replace our roof. M & J was referred to us by a friend who had a skylight repaired by them. Based on their experience, it was a no brainer that I would reach out to M & J for the first quote. Within days, M & J was out to our home. They spent a great deal of time with me on the roof talking through all of the things that I would need and potentially needs. It was instantly clear that I was not going to shop around, given their level of knowledge and professionalism. Needless to say, once back on the ground, I made it very clear that I was not going to shop around and excepted a reasonable price because of this. I was then provided a (very reasonable) quote, and signed right then in there. Of course, this was not a cheap job - but the day they showed up for the job, it was very clear that this roof and the overall experience was worth every penny. The job took one day 7:30am - 5:30pm. This included ripping off the original roof, and the clean up (you would have no idea that they were ever there). I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a minor fix of their roof or full on replacement. The turnaround time, and overall attentiveness was worth every dime. I hope to not have to call them again for the next 30+ years, however, I know that if I ever need their services again, they will be the first and only place I will call.

We have used M&J in the past to install a new roof and this time we called them to repair our brick chimney at the roof line and also repair boot vents on a different roof. Louie is the best and we highly recommend him and his company! They are responsive, reliable, conscientious and do great work.

We have used M&J roofing twice. The first time was to put a new roof on one part of our house. They were incredible. There work was exceptional, done quickly and everything left spotless. Recently, we experienced a leak on a different part of our roof. They came out immediately to look at it and did a quick fix to insure we would not get any additional water damage, before they were able to replace the roof and flashing a couple of weeks later. Once again they were incredible and extremely pleasant to do business with. I would definitely give them my highest recommendation.
