OMG!!! I can't say enough great things about this company. Professional, patient, respectful of time, on-time, efficient....Just plain WONDERFUL!!!! My ceiling began to leak, fast forward, I needed a new roof. M&J came over, gave me a date and began working within a week and the roof was done in a day. But besides that, what a wonderful and professional company. Roofing companies are a dime a dozen, but a compassionate, considerate owner and operator of a company is hard to find. M&J can get my business anytime. What a Absolutely Wonderful company, with wonderful people, efficient work and just all around GREAT!!!!

M&J Roofing is such a pleasure to work with; honest, fair, responsive and reliable. They put a new roof on our home a number of years ago (complicated job that turned out great), and recently stopped by for some quick repair work on a shed – immediate response and no charge! Couldn’t recommend them more highly!!

I contacted M and J roofing about a leak. Lous response was quick and after inspecting my roof responded with urgency. I had many roofs installed over the past several years none of which seem to work due to the pitch. The most recent roof I put on was a metal roof, which was the source of many of the problems. After Lou inspected it he told me what needed to be done and after agreeing on the contract he started immediately. They are prompt and professional and both him and his son Nick are two of the kindest human beings I ever met. They told me they'd be here at 8:00 a.m. and they were here before that, they started at 8:00 and we're done by the end of the day. Lou and Nick kept me posted each step of the way and during the removal of the metal roof they showed me what went wrong and explained why it went wrong. In short it was because of companies or people that install roofs that don't care about their work that care about ripping off unsuspecting customers. That is why in closing I will say M and J roofing should be the only and I am stressing only company anybody should want to do any work on their roof.

The crew that arrived completed the entire job meticulously in one day each time they came. The job required a second day only because Solar Panels needed to be removed before the final two roof areas could be re shingled. This process required more than the usual amount of trusted communication and coordination of timing which M&J Roofing, as represented by Louie, completed flawlessly. Louie and his crew did an amazing job, they were prompt in communication and in completing the project, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly, they fixed my leaky roof! If you need someone to touch your roof for you, these are the people!

Everything looks fantastic and no more leaking skylights. The installers were professional and courteous, arrived on time, and cleaned up after the job was complete. The job was completed quickly and done to their high standards. They made sure we were happy throughout the process, whether it was skylight positioning during install or even downspout sizing. Received GAF warranty in the mail after the job was complete.

Louie is terrific - my husband and I highly recommend him for roofing repairs. He had done an excellent job reroofing a section of our prior house that had been leaking, so when we developed a leak in the ceiling at our new house we called him again. He answered our call immediately, came on New Year's Day (!) to assess the situation, and after determining where the rain was getting in, came back promptly to fix the problem. He clearly explained where he thought the water was getting in and took pictures so we could see his work after the repairs were completed. Not only does he do excellent work, but he is an extremely friendly person. If we need roof work done in the future, there is no question that Louie is the person we'll call.

I scheduled an estimate to have a leak repaired and Luis showed up right on time. I was expecting to need a section of shingles removed and replaced, but as soon as he went up the ladder, he said "there's your leak" and showed me a nail and a warped section of roof. He fixed it right then and there and refused to charge me for the repair. I would definitely call M & J for any future roofing or gutter work.

Louie and his team were great to work with. He did just what he said he would do and stayed in budget. I was able to sell my house in two days because of the work he performed.

After getting several quotes on replacing our roof and gutters, we knew right away M & J Roofing was the right company to hire. Although their quote was a bit higher than most, we got exactly what we paid for…an EXCELLENT JOB!!! Lou always returned our calls and answered all our questions in detail. It was really refreshing to deal with someone who takes his business serious, shows a high level of professionalism, who is very organized, and paid meticulous attention to every detail. He runs his job like a fine oiled machine! The crew was also courteous, professional, and efficient. It was a pleasure to deal with Lou and his crew. They left no stone unturned and we would highly recommend them to others.

MJ put the roof on in 2015, and recently I noticed a leak coming through a window frame. I called Louie. He called right back and came over and checked the area of the leak. It looked as though it was not a roof issue but more of a siding issue at the edge of the roof. Louie sealed it at no charge. Good job, many thanks!

Moved into a new home, and after a fierce rainstorm in October, found that my large chimney was leaking terribly into the attic, and down the rafters. Had a chimney company come out to reflash, but they insisted on rebuild, but said they couldn’t get to it until Spring. They showed me no pictures, did not provide a reasonable explanation, and were extremely young. As I still wasn’t convinced that simply flashing was not possible, I proceeded to look for a roofing/masonry company. If I did reflash, I wanted someone extremely experienced to do it. I was not very familiar with most of the roofing companies, so I searched online and saw that M&J did both roofing and masonry, and also had over 500 reviews on Angies list that were 5 stars. I was shocked, as I felt that 20 reviews could be faked, but no way could 500. They were also rated A+ on BBB. I gave them a call, and they were out to my house within a day. Louie, the owner of the company arrived, and was very personable. He climbed up into the attic (no stairs) so I could show him the water leakage. He then went up on the roof, and invited me to come up if I wanted. (I appreciated that, as the other company did not ask me to do this and did not even show me pictures of the situation.) I was shocked to see the poor repairs and terrible flashing that had been previously done. Louie also felt that the chimney, rather than the flashing, was causing the water problem, and recommended a rebuild. His price was very competitive, and he promised that it would not rise, no matter what they found when the chimney was dismantled. To my shock, he promised to be there in 3 days with his crew. He also encouraged me by asserting that this was actually the best time of year to do a job like this, as the cement was being applied in cooler temperatures and would still have 2 months to cure. I agreed to the work and the fee, and Louie and his crew arrived as promised, and right on time. It was not going to be an easy job, as several solar panels were right in front of the chimney, but plywood was placed over the panels for protection. As work proceeded, it became evident that Louie was correct in his judgement, as the bricks and stones were still sopping wet. I was also impressed that Louie had 4 tradesmen to assist. As a result, the work was done in a day, clean up was remarkable, and no damage occurred. All of the workers were extremely industrious and very courteous. The finished product was beautiful and extremely well done. In every possible way, Louie instructed his workers to go the extra mile, and to do quality work. I am very happy that I found M&J Roofing. I was very concerned initially about how things would go, if the diagnosis was correct, if the work would be quality, if any damage would occur to the roof, etc. I needn’t have worried. Though Louie is very personable, he did not in any way use that to take advantage, or to simply get a job. I found him to be diligent and to have excellent character, going the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy. This is extremely unusual in a day where the trades are so busy, that even good people have lost the sense of compromising their character for more money. I am extremely happy with the experience and the finished product. I am sure that Louie will stand behind his workmanship, and happy for the 5 year warranty. I highly recommend M&J Roofing.

Superb work. You can't tell there was any damage. They arrived when they said they would and didn't leave until job was completed. Charged the amount quoted. Couldn't ask for better.
