Overall a great experience. What I would've thought to take a week, Louie and his crew did in three days. Most impressive.

Good experience all around. Spoke at first with Louie, who came out to take a look (climbed up on roof, took pictures with phone to show me on the ground) and gave me an estimate on the spot. No money requested up front, you pay only when you agree the job is finished. Once agreed to, he was able to get a crew there within 3 days to perform the work. Communication was really good. Louie always called roughly a half-hour before he got there, which is a small thing but is really considerate. Work crew was three guys who did the whole job in a single (10 hour!) day. Holy cow did they work hard. Everything was swept, cleaned up and put away when they left. No damage to the wood deck or any furniture that was within tumbling distance. No damage to shrubs or trees. Hard to see how they got all that done without some wear and tear on the lawn or flower beds. Maybe they got the bricks up to the roof by trampoline, but I didn't see one on the truck.

I used M&J for a smaller project several years ago and I was so happy with the crew and the attention to detail, that I planned on using them again. When my house roof needed replacing I obtained three estimates and met with two other roofers. I only felt comfortable with M&J. They came by on the same day I called. Once again they met my requirements and budget. They accommodated my schedule and worked steadily, completing the job in under two days. The crew was hardworking and all smiles. I have complete confidence that should I have any questions or issues, their response time will be same day. I recommend M&J without hesitation.

Louie, Mike, and the entire crew did a wonderful job. Made good suggestions on choice of shingles and gutter guards. Friendly, honest, and professional. No high pressure and no deposit required. Thoroughly cleaned up. Their 10-year warranty on labor is a big plus. We would most highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The job went very well. Louie, one of the owners was onsite during the entire job ensuring that all contractual items were completed in a timely manner. Work done was high quality in every respect. Louie and his team did a fantastic job replacing our roof. First, Louie gave a great recommendation for the color of the roof based on what looks good and will last with no fading - we are so happy with the color. Second, his team works phenomenally quickly - we have a large house and they finished the job in about three days! Third, Louie's network of other professionals is amazing - his team works with Pro Painters and we were extremely impressed with their work painting our house as well - this is a very high quality and honorable network of professionals to care for your home. Fourth, Louie's team did a fantastic job on our gutters - the gutters themselves are beautiful and look like they were made for our house. We have a curved side of the house which required a more intricate gutter to curve around and they did a great job with that as well. All of the spouts were placed as unobtrusively as possible to blend in with the house. It all looks great. The price was very competitive too. Louie and his team really gave our house a second (or third or fourth) life! Last but not least, Louie is extremely easygoing and puts you right at ease, which you should be since they do great work! Louie was prompt about returning my calls, answering questions, arriving on time, and making sure all the work was completed in a timely way before a major rain storm. His expertise on working with older houses with unusual roof lines, skylights, etc. really showed while he and his crew were on the job. He made sure everything was done to perfection and no detail was overlooked. Working with him was a pleasure. Highly recommended!

Extremely well. They worked hard, answered all my questions and appeared to do a quality job. They stripped old roof completely off and replaced rotten sub-roof with new plywood. They added gutters and tried to make it blend in with the house as best possible. They honored their quote and charged exactly what they said they would. Louie, the president, was easy to work with. His crew was extremely well motivated and wanted to do a quality job. I will use them again.

They were all very professional, courteous and friendly. They worked very hard in 90+ degree heat and completed the job in one day.

From Misfortune to Good Fortune What can I say about M&J Roofing? Well, it started when a huge limb of a tree in the corner of the property came crashing down in the middle of the night. Startled abruptly from our slumber we knew immediately that things were very bad. Jumping ahead, the peak of the house had a huge crack in it and damage to the sidings and porch roof were also a factor. Jumping ahead again, we found M&J Roofing via Angie's List and I spoke with Louie. He came by at the scheduled time and checked out the situation. He was the only contractor that actually got up on the roof to inspect the damage. Let's face it, if someone doesn't take the time and effort and tells you what's wrong with your roof just from looking at it from street level, they may be someone who will cut corners at other parts of their job as well. The work got started at the scheduled time and finished ahead of schedule. Shout out to the great crew lead by Louie and Mikey! Professional, informative, neat and polite. Could not have had a better experience. We love the look of the new roof and we even had the garage done to match! Thanks again to Louie and everyone at M&J Roofing!!! Highly recommended!

They were great. We bought a big deal for a roof inspection. Then they charged us about $10,000 which we did not think was that bad.

Excellent. We needed extensive work to replace our roof, gutters and repair our chimney. Louie very professionally showed us the issues of concern and gave us options to remedy what needed to be done. All work was done timely, neatly, and efficiently. The roof and gutters gave the house a wonderful facelift and gave us peace of mind when we face winter weather the next time. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Absolutely outstanding!!! I have never seen the like. I called on Friday for a quote. On Saturday, when he came, Louie said apologetically that he would have come on Friday if he had known my roof leak involved electrical wiring. With lots of rain in the forecast he wanted to shift his schedule so that he could do the job two days later, on Monday, to prevent trouble. He called me Saturday night to say that he could come Monday but there was a chance of rain. Could the men come Sunday morning at 8:30? I got home in late morning to find five or six men swarming over the house with five or six ladders and two large trucks. The operation was astonishing to see—and by 6:30 pm it was over. A roof in one day! The workers were all friendly and attentive. The operation was thoroughly professional. This is the most amazing service I have ever had as a homeowner. I have already contracted with M&J for more work.

Louie and his team were excellent! They had to tear off our old roof and add plywood to a significant portion of the house. They did a terrific job, and were so neat! During the job, Louie noted that we needed new gutters as well - and he suggested that we replace all - although he did offer to just repair the section that was absolutely necessary. The roof looked so great that we decided it was best to replace all of the gutters. Louie did that work as well - and we are so happy with the finished project. I would highly recommend Louie and M&J Roofing to everyone!

They did a great job in one day while we were out of town. When we arrived home that night the yard was left clean and our neighbors raved about the hardworking crew. Louis, the owner, was very responsive to all our questions and we would definitely use them again. In fact, we plan to use them to do some repair work on our chimney.
