+ -1 moreWe were greeted at the door by a salesman who was friendly but not pushy. He was knowledgeable and patient while we looked at different pieces and answered all questions. We decided on a BEST leather sofa, chair and ottoman. The chair and ottoman were not in stock so they ordered them for us. We were there on a Tuesday and they delivered the sofa on Thursday. This is the only business I found that still removes your old furniture. All others I spoke with would take it to the curb and I had to find was on my own to find someone to take it away. There was no charge for delivery and disposal. The 2 gentlemen that brought the sofa in were experienced and professional. Very pleasant. The chair and ottoman were in approximately 3 weeks later and were delivered promptly. I believe Foucaults offers old fashioned service that is hard to find today. They are competitively priced. I believe the quality of the brands should be considered when comparing to items seen advertised on television. My past experience with Foucaults has been that they stand behind what they sell.

+ -1 moreI have purchased appliances from Foucault's in the past. One of the reasons that I like to do business with them is that they service what they sell!
Description of Work: I purchased a clothes dryer at Foucault's. The selection of models provided broad choice of brands, features and prices. Foucault's price included delivery, installation and removal of the old appliance. The delivery was timely and efficient. They confirmed the scheduled delivery with a phone call the day before and also the morning of the delivery. I received another call 15 minutes before their arrival.

Description of Work: Our 18-year old GE microwave died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, Jan. 25, 2013. We checked Consumer Reports, then we called Foucault and went to their store in Wallingford and picked out a GE replacement. They had a good selection. The one we wanted was not on display, but readily available in their stock room. It was delivered and installed on Friday, Jan. 25 at noon. The old microwave was removed (and disposed of) and the new GE microwave installed efficiently and competently in less than 45 minutes. The price for the unit and the installation were very competitive. We were very satisfied. For years all of our major appliances in the kitchen were purchased from, and installed by, Foucault. They are a well respected, family-owned company with integrity and excellent service at any hour. Our experience with Foucault has been "hassle-free" We do not hesitate to recommend them .

+ -1 moreThey have been in life and have been around for 3 generations. They are family owned and I took my grandmother there. They are reliable, never late, show up early or on time, and clean up afterwards. Because I am disabled, they will takes things off the shelf and sit them down on the counter before they leave. Charlie, a grandson of the original owner, runs it now. They are old fashioned.
Description of Work: I have been using them for years. They fixed my oven, washer, and dishwasher.
