Excellent work from start to finish! From the person who quoted the job to the wonderful installers, this company was a pleasure to work with. I even emailed them after completion to tell them that. I would highly recommend them. They were clean, thorough, and did what they said they were going to do.

I was recommended to use Collins & Co. and I'm glad I did. Company representative Mike came to our home to measure and scope out the job. He discussed the types, Blown-In, and Batt, and prices; the prices were very reasonable, and we chose Blown-In. When the Installation Crew came, the Lead Man explained in detail how they were going to proceed. They put protective covering on our floors, and were very careful of furniture while walking through the house. We were called to check on the progress several times. Covers were put over the exposed tops, in the Attic, of the Kitchen ceiling lights, and barriers were put up to keep the soffits clear for air circulation. Batt Insulation was put on top of the Attic access cover. Cleanup was immaculate inside, and outside of, the house. The installation team was polite, cheerful and very proffesional. We highly recommend Collins & C0.

We selected the style, color, and window type, we consider the price to be very reasonable. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship. Two men, "busy as bees", took out the old doors, guides, and motors, and loaded them into the truck. Each man worked on a new door, their work was precise, efficient, and quick; clean-up was immaculate. The men were polite, cheerful and professional throughout. We highly recommend Collins & Co.

I needed to uninstall Gutter Helmuts in preparation for reroofing. To maintain my lifetime warrantee, I needed to use the authorized Gutter Helmut dealer in my area. At the time I originally purchased the Gutter Helmuts, Collins was the authorized dealer, and I naturally assumed that that was still the case. I felt that I had no choice but to use them. Collins did uninstall the Gutter Helmuts - $560 for one hour of work. Later, when they repeatedly failed to return my phone calls for reinstallation, and I searched for an alternative contractor, I learned that they were no longer the dealer. So I hired Gutter Helmut of Conn. to complete the job. I feel that Collins implicitly misrepresented themselves to me in not disclosing that they were no longer the authorized dealer. I also feel that they were unprofessional in not returning my phone calls.

I had originally rated this service provider with good marks, however I have come back on to modify my original rating because the gutter they installed on my house leaks. I have contacted them three times - the two previous times they said they came out to repair it but it is still leaking. Each call requires weeks of waiting for them to schedule me in to repair the lousy job they did. It has now been three months and they can't seem to get it fixed. It is now leaking more than it has previously - so either they are not coming out when they said they are or they can't seem to get it right. There is no follow-up calls to find out if I am still experiencing leaks when it rains - no communication at all. I expected more based on the reviews that were original on the site for this provider - but give the money that I spent - I would have expected better. 10/15/2015= I am adding another update - not only have then not called me back in my multiple calls - the gutter has gotten worse - it is now leaking behind the gutter which is not affecting my faceboards.

I obtained three estimates for attic insulation. The sales rep was very easy to deal with, low pressure, and they provided the best price. The quote included either blown in fiberglass or cellulose for the same price - my choice. I had also received a recommendation from another vendor who subs out to Collins and Co so I felt even more comfortable hiring them. On the day the job was completed, I notified the tech that I was pregnant and left the house while the insulation was being blown-in. The tech called my cell phone when he was done and texted photos of the final work to my phone so I didn't need to climb up to the attic to check it out. The two contractors were professional, respectful and pleasant to deal with. They put down plastic to protect the floors and left the house clean. I would never have known that there was insulation blown in, in the attic. I would definitely use Collins and Co again and would recommend them to family and friends.

Received only a quote, from there company. Not willing to budge on there price, received several different quotes from other gutter installers for lot less, $100 less. There excuse, was and quot;we hire professionals not criminalsand quot;. :) Okay, but there price was very criminal.....

very satisifed with all processes - estimate and work

The project went extremely well overall. The sales rep was very good with communication with us about what we wanted as well as with the progress of the installation as it happened. We were looking to have the insulation installed quickly, as another company had given us problems with scheduling. Collins was able to get us on the schedule quickly to move the project forward. Once the installation began, there was a small mishap with installation of a small amount of fiberglass blown-in insulation instead of cellulose. The sales rep called my energy consultant directly to confirm that the difference between the fiberglass and cellulose was substantial enough to remove the installed fiberglass and start over. He called me to tell me that they had installed some fiberglass by mistake, and were going to remove it and install the correct insulation. I did not have to question what they had done, or fight to get the right thing done. To make up for the mistake, the company installed extra sound-barrier insulation in the house at no charge! We are very happy with our experience with this company, especially for the price quoted and charged, as well as for the communication provided along the way that kept us up to date with the progress.

They showed up when they said they would for both the estimate and the installation. They cleaned up after themselves and were professional in every way. We had the work done in September just before the leaves began to fall. The system worked perfectly and we never had to clear any leaves or debris from the gutters. Considering that we have many trees on our property and the gutters normally have to be cleared several times throughout the fall, we are quite impressed. The system was expensive, but I expect that if it holds up over the years and we don't have to ever clear the gutters again, we will consider the price to be well worth it.
