 + -1 moreThis job took one day. I had mildly edged out the area for cobbles. These were medium size cobbles and they needed to dig out quite a bit more in order to lay them with a few inches above ground; there were some tree roots complicating the process. They also spread the new stones out around the entire house; I have a small ranch/attached breezeway-garage. They did a great job and it looks great! Last season, in the Fall, I had another job done by Thomas and his team. I had dug out all of the crowded plants in front of my breezeway entrance and had them lay some beautiful large stones down in a random design with a cobble edge. The bonus is that Thomas noticed that I had a gutter ending in a very awkward way right by the steps of the breezeway entrance. He was able to run the gutter under the ground, into a sort of well, lined with a lot of gravel; sorry Thomas, if this is not the best description. It has been working well so far and I am so pleased to be done with that gutter issue. Thomas periodically stops by to have a look at his work and do minor touch ups which I really appreciate. In addition to these jobs, Thomas has lots of information to share and is obviously enthusiastic about his work. He can give you many ideas for the future and also help you stay within your budget. I hope to use this provider again in the future.
Description of Work: Apply cobbles along 3 sides of my house and spread about 7 tons of CT-blend stones.

Description of Work: I needed to find someone to plow both mine and neighbor's sidewalk / driveway. I checked on Angie's List found him to be closest. Made the phone call, explained our situation our previous snowpiow man was no longer able to uphold his contract, due to major health issues. The owner seemed very interested even though he mostly did commercial plowing. He explained he had a commercial job not far from our homes and would do a drive by in three or four days. It was going on two weeks, so I called him again left a message. Three days passed I called again he asked for my neighbors ph# which I gave him. He again stated he was very interested in doing the job. I explained I was anxious due to my own serious health issues and we wanted to have everything squared away before the first snowstorm. I told him the time he could reach my neighbor, she claims he never called her. I gave his ph# to her she called left several messages claims he never responded to her either... | |Very disappointed in his lack of professionalism and response ! All he had to do was give us the courtesy of a phone call ,if he did not want to do the job, instead of leading us on knowing our situation. | |We never heard back from him!
