This was a great experience from start to finish. The office staff who set up my appointment were very courteous and more than eager to fit my schedule. The technician who came to perform the service, Luke, worked very professionally and I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. He took no time at all to diagnose the problem and had the toilet completely fixed in no time. In addition, he noticed a small problem at the end that was causing an occasional leak from the toilet and was able to correct that without delay. It's hard work finding a good plumber, but I'm thrilled to have done so with Ray Page.
Description of Work: I had a toilet that began to come loose and shift. I needed Ray Page Plumbing to come and re-install it to prevent any further movement or loosening of the wax seal (and subsequent leaks!).

I called Ray Page Plumbing on a weekend with an emergency leak in my water heater. Within couple of hours Ray called me back and informed me about their weekend rate, but asked what is the issue. I described him the problem and he told me that there might be an easy fix (simple part replacement) that I can do myself, and gave me a detailed description of what needs to be done. Sure enough, I fixed the problem following his directions in less than 15 minutes ! I really like honest contractors and they are not very easy to come by -- Ray Page is certainly on top of my list for any future plumbing work.
Description of Work: Ray told me on the phone that most likely my problem is a small part that is very easy to replace - following his detailed directions, I fixed my weekend emergency myself. Very honest contractor!

Description of Work: I had a new toilet installed. Ray gave me a couple options including just fixing the seal as well as prices. I opted to update and replace the toilet. He did all the work efficiently and correctly. Note I called the afternoon a day before. He came out the next morning on time.

It went very well. Cut whole in ceiling to allow for a frame and trap door. Did the work quickly and efficiently. Also cleaned up around the area.
Description of Work: Troubleshoot leaking toilet, cut hole in ceiling to determne exact issue. Discovered that there was no seal on the drain pip that came from the 2nd floor. Screwed end on pipe and sealed the pipe to ensure that it would not leak in the future.

Description of Work: Ray Page himself came just before our big storm last fall and gave me suggestions and an estimate. I was tied up all winter and just called him on 3/15/12 to do the work . He came with an apprentice 3/21/12, the time and date agreed upon. Price included toilets, associated parts, labor. They were prompt, thorough, neat and pleasant and fast. I will hire him again for other plumbing work.

I called Ray to diagnose a ground floor toilet that wasn't flushing. He came out the next day (earlier then I expected) and told me I had a plugged main sewer line and said it needed to be snaked. Ray is a busy man and didn't have time to do the job right then, so he recommended a drain cleaning service and even called them for me. He didn't charge me a dime for this service.
Description of Work: The ground floor apartment's toilet was not flushing and sewage was coming up into the bathtub. I called Ray to come look at it.
