Description of Work: I had called Juliano's to talk to them about a question with my spa. I received advice and they instructed me to try something to correct my spa error codes. The gentleman told me what to do and.....Bingo it worked. I thank him very much and he earned me as a customer when ever I need any spa supplies.

Description of Work: Brian Juliano the owner was involved from the very first step and followed the project through until the end. He and his staff showed extreme professionalism throughout the entire process. I would without a doubt recommend using them again.

Description of Work: We have an old inground pool that was built 30 years ago and had deteriorated to the point that the pool was almost unusable. My husband and I decided that it was time to make some changes to the pool area and bring it back to his former glory. I had asked some friends of mine who have pools of who they would recommend. Although there are a few local companies, the name that kept coming up was Juliano's Pools. Based on my friends' recommendations, I contacted Juliano's Pools to talk about the renovations we were looking for. Brian Juliano came out to the house and surveyed the job. Although we were looking for a major renovation (rip out and replace concrete, fence, pool equipment, etc.) Brian was undaunted by the task at hand. He wrote a quote which outlayed all the work to be performed, as well as some additional items that he felt would be prudent to address at the same time. We signed a contract and awaited the start date of our renovation, which was 1 week from the day we signed the contract. To our amazment, we received a call saying they could get started even sooner than expected. The crew did an amazing job from start to finish. They showed up bright and early everyday until the job was done. We got a call each night before to let us know what to expect the following day. Our yard was left clean and orderly every night and they even put up a temporary fence to keep everyone safe, even during the demolition of our old fence. Our backyard is now a great place to enjoy with friends and family. The entire project was seamlessly performed and I would recommend Juliano's Pools to anyone who wants a top quality job done!

Description of Work: I had a pool closing done on my pool this morning. I also joined Angies list this morning looking for a contractor for gutters. While searching on Angie's list and exploring the site I decided to see how Juliano's Pools was rated because I knew I'd always been extremely happy with them. I was so disappointed to see the previous review on Julianos pools so I knew I just had to write my own and tell a very different story. I cannot say whether the above review is accurate or not but I can describe my experiences with them. We had a pool installed by Juliano's Pools about four years ago. My husband and I have owned our home for ten years. We have had many contractors do work at our home and have NEVER had someone so thorough and reliable. Brian Juliano gave us a quote on a pool along with many other companies. The difficulty of the topography of our yard was probably a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the most challenging. We decided to go with Brian Juliano because he seemed the most knowledgeable and took the most time to explain how he would handle our challenging topography. He explained everything that he might encounter and how it would be dealt with. He explained that some of the unknowns could bring additional costs but he accurately explained how much and why. Our experience was nothing but positive. In fact, my husband and I have joked over the years that we wish Julianos did other things because they are the ONLY contractor we have ever hired that did 100% of what they said they'd do and did it so well. They followed through on everything and the estimate was accurate. The pool turned our very difficult to access back yard into a backyard paradise! We have used them every year to open and close the pool and every time I would give them an A+++. They show up when they say they will, they do the work they say they will and always do it perfectly. I trust them completely. They are very responsible and go above and beyond what you expect. The employees are hardworking, honest and ultra respectful. They are careful and knowledgeable. I know people who have had other companies install their pools around the same time as ours and they have already experienced problems with their pools. We have had nothing but perfection with our entire system. The pool is beautiful and the quality is unsurpassed. I have to say I am disappointed to see how few reviews are on Angie's List. The small numbers of reviews makes for a tool that in my mind is inaccurate in rating a company. This rating for Juliano's Pools is not accurate in my mind and makes me doubt the usefulness of Angie's List.

Description of Work: julianos pool replaced the liner in our 20'x40' inground pool. We went with them because they were the cheapest. They did the job as proposed but needlessly elimated and stole 2 stainless steel ball valves (over $150.00 each) and 2 schedual 80 unions ($40.00 each) witthout asking permission or checking with my wife or myself or having brian, the owner verify it with us. The part the really p me off the most was when I had the valves replaced it was done in such a way that everything could be unscrewed if it needed to be worked on but thanks to brians employee everything he touched is now glued and the entire section has to be replaced to be worked on. When I called brian regarding the "missing items" instead of telling me he would straighten it out, he explained to me that he was in business for 20 something years and the man responsible for eliminating the valves had been with him almost as long as he was in business. I told him his employee probably took them to scrap them for the money and if he didn't scrap them that I wanted them back being they were over $150.00 each not including the the missing unions and that they would match the exsisting ball valves. Even IF he did replace the missing stainless ball valves they would not match the exsisting ones. He was down right rude to me on the phone to the point where I hung up on him. After I calmed down I emailed him twice (this site won't allow me to copy & paste the actual emails but please feel free to contact me for copies of the emails) He did state that he would replace the stolen valves and supply material to RE-DO the area in question (I guess I have to eat the labor on that) but to this day I have not received any parts, money or heard one word from him. I have been in the construction trade for almost 40 years and one thing I've lived by was even "IF" the owner tells you to take something you verify it with your boss first, then he/she should double check with the owners to make sure it is oh kay.
