Jester & Son

Description of Work: Mike Jester was hired to build an addition, porch, roof, and all aspects of construction. He was building a whole second floor on my existing "Cape" house. This project was to include 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, an a den on the inside, and a deck on the outside. He was the General Contractor on this project that would take 6 months. He totally conned me. He dragged this project out for 2 years. He sometimes would not show up and I had to continually chase him around to work. He talks a good game!! Brought his young son over when he signed the contract and picked up the deposit. Nobody should ever trust this guy for anything. After working and putting my family through h***, he gathered his tools, and never showed up again. It has cost me thousands dollars to finish the majority of the work he started. I just finished payng a roofer to fix the leaks in my roof. The roofer was appalled at the work he did. Exposed nails, drip edge installed wrong, and no flashing around the dormer. He covered up carpentry work with molding, used the wrong caulk to fill nail holes, the deck is not level. I could go on forever If anybody is thinking about hiring Mr. Jester for anything, you are making a grave mistake. It is going to take me a couple of years to recover financailly. No hard working family should have to experience what my family did. Thank you.
