He and his helper were here to power wash, then came back to do first coat of stain and rails. I saw missed areas and pointed them out. it took weeks for for him to come back, partly due to rain and wanting the deck to be dry, however, he had "other jobs" and did not come back for weeks and when he did he spray painted the deck. Areas were missing paint, including between boards. White paint dripped from rails onto deck, somehow a splatter of deck paint was on the garage which I did not see until after he left. His paint time was no more than 4 hours each time. I have lived here for 21 years and have had this job done before NEVER so fast and so sloppy. Also, no dropcloth under deck so stain got on my paver walkway. Originally we agreed to $1400 and he took $100 off, however, that was before I discovered so much more that was wrong! I sent him pictures of areas that were poorly done and the garage splatter. Two days later, he has not responded. The work was done on a Saturday and I satyed off the deck, therefore, I did not scrutinize his jon when he arrived fisrt thing Monday for his payment. I told him, he should be scrutinizing his work and as a professional he should know that his work was under par. Bad work, bad attitude. Avoid this painter!
