+ -1 moreIt went FLAWLESSLY! Keith and his assistant work in hand-in-hand tandem as if each knows what the other is thinking. Removing a large water tank and replacing it with a new one seemed very daunting to me but they made it look effortless! They had no problem with my taking pictures of the operation( because I just couldn't believe how flawlessly they performed). While they worked, I asked (and they graciously answered) a "bizillion" questions about the wiring, the integrity of adjoining pipes; the effect if any on the foot valve, etc. When you're dealing with someone who KNOWS what they're doing, it's the most secure feeling in the world! When Keith and his assistant were finished and we said our farewells, I said a "Thank you God" for their having been here!
Description of Work: Keith came to our home to assess our problem. He was so 'right on'. Later he called to give us the cost of the new tank and valve, along with labor cost. An appointment was made for the work to be done on Wednesday. On Monday, he called and said he could perform the work on Tuesday, 4/8/14. Promptly at 1:00 p.m., Keith and his assistant, Matt, arrived. Very professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient! Within 2 hours, all was finished. The bill tendered was exactly as quoted. We are absolutely thrilled with Buttermore Plumbing! Thank you so much. We look forward to calling them for any plumbing service we might need in the future!

He was careful to not make a mess and cleaned up after he finished. He didn't even mind talking to the landlord by phone to explain the problem and get approval. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call Buttermore's again if I need plumbing services.
Description of Work: Fixed two toilets - one that was "running" and the other that was taking a very long time for the tank to refill.

+ 0 moreFirst they had to removed toilet, then they carried in the new whirlpool tub and installed it. They then installed the surround. He installed all the fixtures shower head and tub Faucet. They did a beautiful job! Keith helped me select the right type of fixtures that would be the best to use . It can be very confusing but he make it simple foe him to understand. I can't say enough about Keith and Mat for there expertise in there field of plumping.

Our home is an older home and the job was not the easiest. Keith gave us a good price and he completed the work quickly and efficiently - right through the final inspection. It's not always the easiest to find a tradesman that you can trust, and we wholeheartedly recommend Keith! Not only did he take care of our plumbing and hot water needs, but he has connected us to other tradesmen that we needed for other projects. You can't ask for any better!!

Description of Work: Keith and Matt fixed a slow water leak in a complicated toilet tank mechanism. They replaced a part with one that is more resistant to chlorine in the water supply. Then they analyzed a problem with grit emitting from a faucet. They discovered that it wasn't the faucet but deterioration of the supply line. They promptly replaced the line with a new and better quality part. The water now runs clear.

+ -1 moreWhen I called Keith he was on another job but said when he was done he would stop by to look at my leaking toilet. Three hours later I got a call from Keith who said he was on his way. When Keith arrived he and his assistant were courtliest and professional. After taking a look at my leaking toilet he determined it was nothing more then one of the tank bolts & rubber gaskets that had gone bad. Thinking it was going to be a whole toilet replacement I was relieved. He had the parts right on his truck so the repair went quickly. Keith made sure the toilet was in good working order and even cleaned up after himself. I was very happy with the response time, the professionalism and work that was done.
Description of Work: Replaced the two bolts that holds the flush tank to the toilet bowl.

+ -1 moreI can't say enough about this company! There was a leak coming from somewhere around my shower into the downstairs. They came, took everything apart, reassembled it to it's proper fitting and off they went. A few days later the leak started again, they returned (at my a time convenient for me no less) with no additional fee, re-inspected all the pipes, took everything apart, reassembled it and off they went again. The third time it happened they again came out within a very reasonable time frame, again with no additional fees and again began to inspect only this time had to look into areas behind walls and such. As it turns out, the leak was not a plumbing issue but a carpentry one due to faulty tile work. Mr Buttermore then gave me a few referrals to several area carpenters. After having such a great experience with his company, I have no problem following the recommendations he has given. I'm very pleased and will not think twice about calling him for my next plumbing issue.
Description of Work: Leaking from my upstairs bathroom shower area into downstairs laundry room. They inspected the pipes downstairs, disassembled & reassembled the drain to ensure functionality and double checked the system.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. He wis honest, did what he said he would, was on time, was professional, and very personable. We felt his rates were fair. Even though this was a relatively small job, he found time based on our time schedule as much as possible. He came out within 24 hours to give us an estimate. I am thrilled to have found such a good and honest plumber who lives locally.
Description of Work: At the time of review we are in mid-project. The bathroom vanity we purchased, Keith found to be damaged upon inspection and needed to be returned. This delayed the finish of project. We hired Keith Buttermore to remove a toilet and bathroom vanity prior to floor installation. When floor was completed Keith returned and re-installed toilet, installed new water filtration faucet and installed new kitchen faucet. He made suggestions as to what type of fixtures to purchase and gave recommendations of good places to shop locally. He made his plumber discount available for purchase of faucets. When the new bathroom vanity is ready (in 1 week) he will return to install the new vanity, sink and faucet and repair an upstairs faucet. He gave a $325 to $340 estimate for the entire job. At the time of review the job was half completed. We paid $195 for the fist part and expect to pay an additional $130 to $145 for the rest of the work. He has been excellent. I'm so glad I found him. His work is good. He takes all calls, comes when he says he will or calls if delayed. He encouraged me to call him when choosing products if I had any questions about them. I would highly recommend Keith Buttermore and will certainly call him again when the need arises. I decided to try Keith Buttermore based on the Angie's List reviews. + -1 moreThis is the 4th time we used Buttermore Plumbing; when you think of a plumber and you know who you're going to call for sure that says a lot. Many plumbers are very busy and don't like the small jobs. This was a small job and Keith was able to fit us into in the schedule in a timely manner and his work is always neat with no complaints. He comes the day he says and he returns calls - that also is a big plus in my book, verses having to call several times to have someone call you back. Baseboard is moved, had to drain out water and prime the furnace again - now I am awaiting my washer and dryer. Thank you Mr. Buttermore again.
