J B Appliance Service

JB Appliance was scheduled to come to my house on May 19,2014 between 9am and 12noon. I took the day off of work and at 8am on that morning they called and cancelled on me, they left a message on my voicemail as I was in the shower. When I called back to reschedule I assumed that since they had cancelled on me last minute that they would be coming out the following day. Since owner never called me back to reschedule, I called them and was spoken to rudely. The receptionist actually had the audacity to say to me " we can't just come out to your house tomorrow, we have a schedule to adhere to "..... I said yes, and I was on that schedule and you cancelled on me last minute. The receptionist (who has always been rather short with me on the phone) said "Hold" and slammed my call on hold. After holding for several minutes I finally just hung up. JB Appliance has cancelled on me before which is unprofessional and clearly they don't respect my schedule or the fact that I had already taken the day off and moved all my appointments so I could be home to wait for them. As mentioned they have done this to me before , they have also charged me multiple times for the same repair on my Sub-Zero wine fridge that broke numerous times.......I probably could have purchased a new one for all the money I paid them in service calls even though they said they called Sub-Zero.

Had originally scheduled to have them come out to service a Sub-Zero refrigerator. Had to cancel original appointment as I wasn't going to be home and the unit seemed to be running better. Called back to reschedule after a new problem sprung up and owner chose to ignore calls (per secretary). Seems that he was not happy we had to cancel previous appt. Pretty juvenile behavior since we had used business in past years. He also didn't have the courtesy to pick up the phone to discuss/explain.

I called on afternoon of New Year's Eve. Spoke to the person who answered the phone and made an appointment for 1/2/14. Had to wait about 5 business days for the part. Part was installed and washer is working well.

I was very happy with their service. He was punctual and he fixed the problem in a timely fashion. My fridge has been working great.

I've used this company before. Always very responsive and professional. Honest about the work and the price is right. Will continue to use their services.

They have done other work for me. They call and say that they are coming and all of a sudden, they call and say that they cannot make it. They ask if they can make it at another time and my husband says no and they don't turn up at all. Once they walked in with the wrong part. As far as repairing stuff, they are fine.
