 + -1 morePaul and his Acer Tree Service crew were great to work with. Pricing was honest and competitive, workmanship was punctual and friendly. Paul arranged for the crane that was needed and explained the entire process with clarity. They removed several large trees from our property (120-130' high) and had it all removed and cleaned up with in 2 days. We will he using Acer in the future. Highly recommend.

 + -1 moreThey did absolutely a fantastic job. They needed a Crane to get these trees down they were big trees. They were very professional and cleaned the place up like they weren't even here. I would recommend him to anybody. His prices were very competitive I have nothing negative to say about him.

 + -1 moreBecause of all the emergencies in our area, we had to wait some weeks for ACER to get to us. However, when they arrived they were proficient and very professional. They completed the work and did an excellant job with the debris cleanup as well. Paul. the owner, and his crew were also a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to anyone needing tree work.
Description of Work: Removed broken and dead limbs damaged during Irene and the snow storm. In addition, they cleaned up the limbs and branches already on the ground.

 + -1 morePaul and his team at Acer Tree Service arrived on time and immediately began work. We hired his team to remove two trees on our property, one in the front of the house and one in the back. His team had the one in the front of the house down within 45 minutes. The one in the back was larger and took a bit more time. We agreed with Paul that we wanted to keep some of the wood for use in our fireplace and he and his team stacked it nicely for us. We have another tree in our front yard that we are thinking about having removed. When we do, we will hire Acer to do the work.

 + -1 morePaul is very responsive and extremely professional and knowledgeable. He and his crew are punctual and curtius. They do what they say, within the agreed time frame. Paul is the only tree guy we will use. We trust him 100% in all regards. He has the knowledge and equipment to get things done right, and is fair on pricing.
Description of Work: We have used Paul for tree removal at two residences. From big to small trees, and also stump grinding.

 + -1 moreWe called him back to be placed on the schedule. He said it would probably be in mid August. He was able to make it over early because of other jobs in the area, and he came with a small crew and took down all the overhang, cleaned everything up, and was gone within a few hours. I was visiting my father in the hospital, not expecting him, and hadn't left a means to pay him. Paul said it was no problem and that he would bill us. I haven't gotten the bill yet, but Paul strikes me a a straight-up kind of guy and I don't expect it will be anything over his quote. And no more wino smell next spring! Yay!
Description of Work: We had a neighbor's white mulberry tree hanging over our detatched garage and raining down a shower of mulberries on to the driveway every June. If you've ever had them you know, if you don't get them up right away it smells like a wino where they land. This tree's branches were also really big and we were afraid if we had another winter like the last, one of those big branches would crash down through the roof of the garage. Paul came out and took a look, and explained that because of how it hung around the garage, it would be a bigger job than a free-standing tree. He said he didn't think that it was presenting any danger to the garage if that was our main concern. We wanted it out of our yard, though! He gave us an estimate (we said we needed to get some others) and went on his way.

 + -1 moreTHEY ARE A QUALITY SERVICE. THEY ARE GOOD FOR THE TREES, BECAUSE THEY DON'T DO A CHOP JOB. THEY ARE BETTER THAN SOMEONE WITH A CHAINSAW. THEY ARE SKILLED BUT EXPENSIVE.
