Excellent. Upon determining our pool liner was damaged beyond repair, I contacted three local pool companies for proposals. Ed, the owner of Merit pool came out promptly with one of his employees. He provided a verbal estimate of the work involved, the timeline for the project and the price range. One other estimate was received (although the owner did not take any measurements) and another provider never returned my call. Upon receiving the second proposal, the decision was made to go with Merit. Upon contract signing, Merit came back out to the house with a sump pump to empty the pool and ensure the measurements for the bottom of the pool were accurate. They came back a day later to retreive the sump pump. The liner was ordered and Merit stayed true to the quoted timeline, the price and delivered a quality product with outstanding service. Unfortunetly, The Merit team had one of the hottest and most humid days of the summer to install the liner. Ed and his team arrived first thing in the AM as promised and remained in good spirits as they installed the liner in the blazing hot sun/humidity. It's a nasty process removing the old liner, smoothing out rough spots and laying the new liner. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend Merit Pools.

I just bought a home with an in-ground pool that was left in total dis-repair. After using 2 other local pool companies, I sought out the services of Merit Quality Pools to finish the job that the other companies did not. Within two days of getting the guidance I was looking for to get my pool up and running, Meri and her staff had us swimming in our pool. They did not try to sell me chemicals or products I did not need but simply tested the pool water and provided a computerized analysis of what was needed to get my pool in balance. They have been very helpful ever since that initial service and I plan to use them to assist me in closing my pool this fall. While they were not responsible for the inital installation of the pool, I feel like they know and understand my pool better than I do. Merit Quality Pools may have been the third company I used this season, but they are first in my book. I highly reccommend Merit Quality Pools in Torrington, CT.
