We made an appointment and met to discuss my plans, and he showed me the pros and cons of the various options in kitchen cabinetry. This way we could spend the money on the inside, where it didn't show, to get a sturdy product, as opposed to just on the outside, which might look better (who's to say?) but not be as sturdy. As we were designing a small island, I wanted it to be rock solid, so that's where we focused. He was able to direct me to a stone distributor that sold remnants, so I was able to get $80/sq.ft. stone in a 36"x36" piece for $30 sq. ft., a terrific savings. He was invaluable and if I was another store, I'd try to steal him with an offer he couldn't refuse.

The man is an all-around contractor. He does all kinds of work. His name is Tom Holmes. The price was pretty good for remodeling a bathroom. We don't get the same quality care that we got from this Lowe's. They are very patient and interested. They kept calling to make sure everything was okay and that we were satisfied. The remodeling took about a week. We had ceramic flooring put in. Everything was done beautifully. They have good products. We are very satisfied with them. I would recommend them and Mr. Holmes. He is very efficient and professional. When he came in for the work, he put down a drop cloth in the living room. He was very tactful. He was here on time, and he stayed as long as the job took.
