Alex is the service person that has done annual service for seven years. He is very efficient, very punctual, answers any questions in everyday language and does an excellent job. I feel that he is always looking for ways to prevent future emergencies.

I was away for work and my wife woke up to no heat. She called and they said they were busy and would be here after 1:30pm but made it here by noon. Tom figured out what was wrong, then worked on our boiler until after 6:00pm. He was very knowledgeable and professional and my wife felt confident in his ability. As well as comfortable having him In our house. I met him before he left and after talking for a while, I felt good about him too. Very personable - the kind of guy who takes pride in his work and wants the customer to be happy. And he cleaned up really good. I will need to replace my boiler soon and I would have no problem having them do it.

Fine, as far as I know. Furnace was really not in use at the time and in fact is still not yet. So it is hard to say that it went well. If I have no problems over the winter, then I can say it went well.

They were punctual, they fixed it. He needed a part he went and came back.

They advised we get a new furnace and this one was old and wouldn't last much longer. We didn't pay for it because we had the guarantee.

Perfect in every area of quality...timeliness, online communication, professionalism, neatness and concern upon entering home, open to questions and providing clear answers and explanations and technician gave confidence regarding his technical expertise. Overall I have confidence in C&G's capabilities to provide excellent service if a problem arises with my furnace.

After Drilling through a air conditioner line my stress level was a 10. After calling two local HVAC contractors I turned to Angies list and found C&G. After talking to the owner who brought my blood pressure from high to low in about 30 seconds a huge deal for me was an easy fix for John the Owner. Most of the cost was in the lost freeon that the government has deemed bad for the environment but John had it in stock!, repaired the problem in under 3 hours of my call, and the stress level was 0. I Happily paid C&G for the prompt service and expertise. If all HVAC contractors were as good as C&G the world would be a better place. Upfront with the pricing, fair, polite, and responsive. What more can you ask for in a contractor. Wish they where state wide I would recommend John's C&G to anyone in the Litchfield area.

Prompt courteous and thorough. Reviewed service contract options fairly. They had originally installed our central air conditioning system and we have been extremely satisfied and found them to be the most helpful and throrough.

Workers arrived promptly. They removed the old boiler and installed the replacement the first day, they worked an extra long shift to ensure we had hot water before they left. They worked about 3/4's of the next day to plumb in the 4 heat zones, test the system. and leave the site very clean. Their work was high quality and the plumbing layout was very well organized. Everything is accessible and well marked. C&G is a second generation family owned business. We dealt directly with one of the new co-owners. He was knowlegable and very easy to work with. His quote was delivered on time. The price was a fair for the amount of work involved. We received discounts for off season work and for prompt payment. Overall, excellent work efficiently completed for a fair price.

Initially the company came in July to service all of our air conditioning units and address some issues. The service then was fine and the price seemed fairly reasonable. The representative was very professional. A part was needed for one unit that was leaking. The follow through was poor and the work on that unit never got finished until after the air conditioning season was done. Additionally, the cost for this second visit was absolutely ridiculous! Nothing was invoiced to indicate the cost of the part. I called over 2 weeks ago for an explanation of the bill and still have not received a call back.

I am totally happy with the price and service.

THE TECH'S ARE FUNNY AND SOCIABLE. I ENJOYED HAVING THEM IN MY HOME AND CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE THEM BACK. I'M EVEN THINKING ABOUT BREAKING THE FURNACE ON PURPOSE!!!
