+ -1 moreThe company lived up to their initial presentation. For the two projects, they arrived as planned with an army of workers and all of the equipment they needed. From the time they started, they worked quickly, focusing on taking down and removing the marked trees. Some of the men specialized in climbing the taller trees, while others cut up and removed the branches and the trunks. When I questioned Gerry about taking down some of the larger trees near our new trees, he explained that his team can target where the trees will fall within one foot...then proved it several times! When they were finished, one would never have known that they had cut down and removed 12 large hemlocks. All debris was gone. These guys are very experienced professionals!
Description of Work: This is the second time we have used this company to cut down and remove dead trees,primarily large old hemlocks. When we first decided to begin our project two years ago, we interviewed five local tree companies. Each company gave us prices within a similar range. Affordable Tree Service was the last estimate we received. Although not the lowest price, Gerry LaFrance presented a most professional image compared to the others. He explained exactly how he was going to take down and remove these rather large trees without damaging our house and the new trees we had planted nearby. We hired him on the spot. After our first experience with Affordable Tree Service, I didn't waste time to get estimates for our second job, I just called Gerry.
