David, the owner came out and gave us a detailed quote within in 3 days. His crew did some carpentry repair, which was tricky; they rebulit two doghouse windows and replaced some clapboard. They used Sherwin Williams paint - Durations, which has held up great for seven years now. Their work was finished in less than two weeks, and that was almost seven years ago now. He was very polite and even did extra work, like repainted all of the raliings and lights fixtures. Although they are not a cheap company in terms of cost, they make of for in terms of neatness, attention to detail, and in our case the longterm integrity of the work.

The Teachers Painting company repainted our colonial in july 2010. They did not provide the lowest bid, but the proposal was meticulous and reflected care and effort. They did not go over initial price, even though they included extras, like repainting all the black hardware. There was considerable mildew and rotted wood on parts of the house; each of these issues was addressed thoroughly. There was a crew of four and each day there was a review of progress. They filled all holes and seams with caulking and filler and applied very good paint- Sherwin Williams - which was expensive, but the contractor insisted. In short, almost 5 years later the house looks excellent! Very happy with their work.
Description of Work: Painted the exterior of house and trim.

He came out the same day that I called him as it was raining lightly and he couldn't paint that day. He reviewed the house and commented on extra services that I might need. He was polite and professional and gave a favorable impression with his knowledge of painting. But as a teacher he had a very short painting season and was almost booked up. He emailed me a quote within 24 hours but I declined it because of price and found another company for almost $1,000 less.
Description of Work: Gave me a quote to stain my house.
