+ 0 moreOur contractor had Powers Construction replace our roof, including some of the plywood sheathing, and install a larger gable vent so we could have a new exhaust fan installed. They arrived on time, did a wonderful job on the roof, and cleaned up after themselves, including picking up any stray nails. They went up six feet with the water barrier to prevent ice dams. They also used the barrier around all the plumbing vents. The flashing was replaced and they spent a lot of time making sure it was good and tight around the chimney. They replaced 15 sheets of plywood on the roof, made sure the insulation in the attic was properly positioned and cleaned up mildew on the inside of the roof sheathing. They came back a few weeks later and power washed the entire house, bringing their own water, which is a plus since we are on a well system. I would not hesitate to use them again, but don't think I'll have to replace the roof again in my lifetime.
