Damon and crew arrived on time with a truck equipped with a bucket and chipper. He dropped the oak in sections in a short amount of time and left the wood for me as I had requested. He then proceeded to remove several dead and/or problematic limbs from other trees. Being a licensed arborist, he is very skilled at what he does. While removing the limbs, he asked if I wanted other nearby limbs removed. The service was quick and efficiently done. I was, however, disappointed in the incomplete clean up that was provided. Most of the trimming debris was removed. However, I was left to clean up several large limbs that were dropped on a planting area. Nevertheless, I would still hire Damon for future tree work.
Description of Work: I had a large oak and several branches removed from other trees.

I called this company and one other and left messages at each one. The other one got back to me first and they were interested in coming out. .Shortly after that New England Arborists called and I informed them that someone was already going to do the job. But then the first person said they could not do it because of a personal emergency. So I went back to New England Arborist to try again. I was shocked when the person who answered immediately verbally attacked me saying "don't call here again I don't have time for these games". His tone was rude and belligerent and all because I called them twice due to an unforeseen change in circumstances. I'm grateful I found out how impatient, intolerant and unprofessional they are before I actually was in the middle of doing business with them.
Description of Work: to look at, diagnose and treat some trees that looked unhealthy to me.

I was in the unfortunate situation of having a 50' white pine fall in a windstorm (fortunately no damage to my home, but a big eyesore for me and the whole neighborhood). NEATC was great. I called them first thing when the damage happened. They told me that NEATC might have a higher price than the average landscaper because I would be higher a licensed arborist. Still, I arranged to have them come later in the day to quote the job. I called one other arborist, and had one landscaper drop by unsolicited, and NEATC beat the price on everyone. NEATC offered to do the job on a Saturday morning, called me a few times to check-in while I was awaiting homeowner's insurance resolution, and on the day they showed up, they even performed the work in a light snow. They took care to try and preserve a Japanese Maple that was also damaged when the White Pine fell atop it. They ground the stump and raked up the smaller twigs and sawdust. Overall, I was very happy with the work, and would use this company again to cut another tree if I needed it.

They did a very good job. The trees were way out of control and they knew how to take out the right number of branches without harming the treee. They were prompt and cleaned up thoroughly. The owner is very friendly and consultative. He knows trees!
